It is a beautiful love story. Sometimes, transitioning from one relationship to the other can be difficult, but since they are so used to doing what couples do, their transition is less awkward.
Episode 15. I would call the Literary Feast finding the rough diamond. Or better still, say, The Stone the Builders Rejected Which Became the Cornerstone.
I wish more people could see this Gem. This episode had the most beautiful cinematography. Even the scene where…
Beautifully said. I think their definition of love is really profound. Even though they were young when they fell in love, their test of love is really cruel because they're stuck in the past. They lost their happy selves and are just going through life with emptiness in their hearts because they didn't understand what they had back then. Since there wasn't a closure, they couldn't move forward because they never fell out of love, even after five years.
I hope they donβt get together in the last episode. She is truly shameless and selfish person. She deserve to…
Wow, that's harsh. I think some people's hearts are loyal regardless of the passing of time. The heart wants what the heart wants. Look at it this way: two young people fell in love innocently, thinking they would weather the storm. But reality comes in and knocks them over. That, in my opinion, is the true test of love. It reminded me of one of Michael Bolton's songs, Time, Love, and Tenderness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhEoQUSU6Mo
I so love your statement, "Shit happens." My take on your summary is that they were both young and inexperienced…
I believe they are meant to be and that she will not suffer a bad fate like her father. I'm sincerely rooting for them to overcome all the obstacles on their way. It's not going to be easy, but it will be worth the sacrifice.
If there is an award for the most stupid , and useless father and husband of the century, he would definitely…
You can see how much stress the fool is causing his mom. Shame on him! At the family meeting, he won't even let his stupid concubine apologize for what her daughter did. Yet he punished his son for not staying put; he was told to stay, and Ning was punished for talking back to him. He's so despicable.
Loving the scenes between First wife (principal wife) and concubine, I hate the evil father but his scenes with…
If there is an award for the most stupid , and useless father and husband of the century, he would definitely make the cut. I want to shake him so badly. What a nut job? He is the architect of that whole family's problem because of a freaking concubine! What a joke of a man!
open endingThey don't get back together but no one knows about the future
I would really love to see a rewriting of the fate here. Hong shouldn't have to go through the same fate as her dad. It would be meaningless to meet and fall in love and then part forever because love does not conquer all. Or what is even the moral of the story? Where is the hope?
