open endingThey don't get back together but no one knows about the future
Even if they wanted to get back together, Hong's mom would be the first person against that relationship because she would be moving to JP, and her dad's first love was a Japanese woman. Secondly, she considered the doctor a great catch for her daughter, and she practically watched him grow up, making her a strong supporter of their union. As it is now, Hong can't go back to Aoki, and she's also finding it very difficult to move on. Right now, Hong's heart doesn't belong to the doctor. She has to stop pinning for Aoki first to be able to see the doctor as a love interest instead of just going with the flow as she's doing now.
at epi 3.Here's my understanding, my vision of the drama :-ML loves FL, it's true from the start. He lost a job…
I so love your statement, "Shit happens." My take on your summary is that they were both young and inexperienced at that time, and her whole world in JP was him. She had many opportunities to have friends, but perhaps she was more reluctant due to the cultural differences. How can a relationship like theirs work their families and friends live in different countries. Assuming Hong's family and friends all reside in JP, maybe things wouldn't be so complicated for them. Now, their only lifeline is love. Their situation reminds me of the new song, "Rewriting the Star" by DOH KYUNG SOO & LEE SUHYUN.
it will be more epic if she "fl" convinced from the start the mother and stay with ml like she did at the end…
I think the mother never learned anything from her own experience of business arranged marriage. That's why she's made her first son go through it and tried to make her second son go through the same fate. But it took an outsider to be worried about her son for her as his mother to come to her senses. I'm sure in real life, there are tons of heartless mothers who demand the unforgivable from their children just because they gave birth to them. What a shame!
It's such a beautiful story at the end. I'm glad the mother realized she messed up and fixed her error to prevent damaging the relationship between her and her younger son. At the end of the day, she had kind-hearted daughters-in-law who understood her emotionally and allowed her sons to see her from a different perspective.
They are driving me crazy🥴the intense tension between them and their chemistry is crazy to the point I am jealous…
I know, right? They are so familiar with each other that they put real couples to shame. They do so many intimate things for each other without realizing this is beyond buddies. The Leisure House restaurant scene was so funny. He had to go all out to protect her. His so-called manager tried so hard not to laugh. And there she was, wiping the food off the waiter's hand. That scene was so funny.
the ml's mother is such a disaster, after watching 9 episodes, i still can't understand why she's disproving against…
My thoughts exactly! I don't usually use the "B" word, but she's a triple "B." How despicable can someone be? I watched episode 9 and want to give the chairwoman an invincible slap. After everything YS experienced as a child, she's still a decent human being which her child met and fell in love with. Why would the chairwoman disrespect her son like that? If she had any respect as a mother for her son, she wouldn't look down on the woman she loves. I think the mother is jealous of the YS and how she made her son feel. Because she asked her son, "Are you saying you are not happy now"? Perhaps she thought that her condition for allowing them to get married would break them up. She must be really crazy because she already dismissed her from her company. So, what the hell?
It was such a beautiful drama. The cast performed exceptionally well, especially Cui and Main Tang. The scene from the prison break was hot, just right in Main Tang's ballpark. I was so happy to see that the empress survived. She's such a nice person. I wanted the emperor to fall in love with her, and it seems he finally did after the land was peaceful.
I really enjoyed the drama as well and I don’t believe the leads are weak or anything. The only problem I see…
I found it touching because in our world today, parents often forget the children they bore and manipulate their lives because they gave birth to them. Unfortunately, they often get away with it, and it's the kids who pay the price. But only very strong-minded children are bold enough to refuse their parents and face the consequences of doing that. So, I was very proud of Ju won for doing that.
Honestly, I like this drama. I read a comment criticising the male lead and don't understand nor do I agree, he's…
I really enjoyed the drama as well and I don’t believe the leads are weak or anything. The only problem I see is the chairwoman who controls the love lives of her sons using them as business deals. I was particularly touched when Ju won asked her to stop being the chairwoman for a minute and just be his mom. In that moment, Ju won believed that his mother would not take away his happiness just like that.
Ju won might seem inexperienced to some viewers but he’s true to his feelings for YS. Even his brother was shocked when he now does a lot of things he didn’t do before. In fact because of YS, he’s a better version of his old self.
The official video is so good. Thanks, again😁😁😁

In my opinion, it’s a very interesting drama.
