Just finished it after it had been recommended so many times and I'm thoroughly facing the same disappointment…
There's insider, its really really good once you get past the first like 7eps then there's king of pigs, i haven't watched it but they say its really good too

I see what you mean.. I remember now but it still had a better plotline than Class of Lies in my opinion and if you think the plot holes in Revenge of Others is bad then with class of lies I would say was worse mostly because of the ridiculously slow pacing and investigation that resulted in nowhere and the fact they never actually caught the culprit only for him to die on a random street from an injection by a stranger with no explanation whatsoever or justice not to talk of the time wasted during those episodes where their investigations led nowhere, revenge of others may not be compared to the likes of weak hero class 1 or glory and even though weak, it had a plotline that wasn't boring and even thrilling but im not here to defend it, im just trying to say people are giving way more credit to Class of Lies than it deserves.
One of my favourite scenes was where Won Joon and Na Eun first met and he said "Let's go somewhere else to talk" and she was like "eodi?" "Where?" That part got me throwing my feet in the air and laughing, she did it so subtly like she was in a trance😂 it was hilarious.

Revenge of others might be not be that amazing but at least there weren't plot holes or questions at the end, all the characters were executed well and the pacing was perfect, I don't know how people just forget about the bad writing and unsatisfying ending of some dramas and just start recommending it when it's not even that good. Just disappointed. I guess i had high hopes after watching The Glory, Revenge of Others and even Weak Hero Class 1.
I have a question and it's a spoiler so if you have not watched it please scroll down, I'm not using the spoiler feature because I don't want my question to be ignored. I'm making this long in case you haven't left yet. Now the question. Is it that Han Shuo's memories suddenly came to the actor or Han Shou became the actor and got the actor's memories because at the ending he was looking at the device on his finger like it was strange and the comment he made about if it was ancient times he would have died.
Does anyone know why Lee Yeon has those black strings on his fingers, they kinda look like rings but does it have any meaning? Or it's just an accessory
Rewatching this drama and realized how much I enjoyed the scenes between Tantai Jin and Pian Ran, they have this funny master and his subject interactions that's just pleasing to watch.
I just love Tantai jin's facial expression but i dont know which I love more his smirk, smile or that fearfully cold gaze of his. My legs are literally up in the air whenever he's up on the screen, he's just to mesmerizing I dont know how to explain it and don't even get me started on Ye xiwu's pouting face😫
I see a lot of people criticising the drama and going on about how its boring but those people didn't even reach episode 10 to see how amazing and mind blowing it is.
At a point I also wanted to drop the drama but I didn't and I'm hella glad because this drama is in my top 3 best dramas of 2022. The storyline is amazing the acting even more compelling. The boring parts are just precedents to where the real plot manifests and once it picks up you find yourself on a ride that just goes on and on. This is a must watch!
I just had to put this out there for those critics who keep making this drama out to be less of what it actually is and before you talk bad about a drama at least watch till the end yourself than giving reviews and making other people feel its not worth watching
I keep on getting this awful feeling that the king might end up dying and either his own mother the Queen dowager will kill him for her ambition or consort hwang.
If they're going to crown the next king i just know the current one wont be spared. This show has a lot of tension and I'm here for it, loving it and the Queen's signature eyebrows definitely deserve her an award because damn is she killing it and i love that she's strong and everything isn't left to her sons or husband to deal with and everytime she makes a comeback at one of their evil schemes I just find myself laughing and kicking. I can confidently say this is on par with Mr Queen😌 maybe even just slightly better but we have to see the ending to know.
This drama defines characted development. In my opinion it needs a season 2. Its not like the ending is not satisfying because it was more than satisfying but leaves you wanting more.
I cant get enough of Kang Ha Neul and the characters are just written to perfection. The plot went beyond my expectation mostly because it started a little slow and frustrating but once it picks up it just flows. Never stagnant, definitely keeps you on your toes with tension and thrill.
The card games are so interesting and makes you longing for more with the amount of intelligence and trickery displayed.
This drama is more than amazing and the rating on here is definitely doing no justice to show how good this actually is. If you want thrill, tension, love hate mixed feelings towards characters, suspense and a brilliant plot this is the one for you.
Ok your comment convinced me to give this drama another chance. I was stuck at ep 5 because I was so tired seeing…
Definitely worth it if you decide to continue, the whole plan kickstarts around episode 7. It's really your choice but Im just glad I didnt drop it I would have missed a lot.
To all those that think this movie was amazing I totally understand where you're coming from but only the fight scenes seems to have improved. The fight scenes were top notch, fast and really exciting. I would say the whole movie really started about 30 minutes to the end. The plot was confusing, only "the girl" had some sort of character development. The scenes where they were speaking english felt really forced and the acting was just generally bad like they were trying to look cool on purpose and it just wasn't working. I would say those were officially the scenes that ruined this movie for me. I was kind of pissed that LJS kind of disappeared in the middle of the movie and took no part in the highlight at the end of the movie but seeing they brought him back in the credit scene I'm positive we'll be seeing more of him in the next one. Kim Da Mi's cameo definitely made a huge contribution to the movie's plot and I also can't wait to see her in the next one. I would definitely say that this movie although with a confusing plot where a lot of things were happening and at the same time nothing was happening it was still amazing. The action scenes immediately made up for all the confusion and thats where the strength really lies. As a fan I would say its giving mixed feelings but overall it was good
