I gotta admit that at first i was really confused about what direction Kim Yo han was leaning towards and I almost dropped the drama but I'm glad i didnt because this drama is just amazing, from the directing to the background music that just matches with the scenes that have tension. This thriller is definitely keeping me on my toes. I was literally scared to watch episode 11 out of fear he might not have won. I just love Kang Ha Neul's acting and the writer because the plot is just perfection. I literally cant wait for the next episode. This definitely needs a higher rating because it just keeps getting more and more interesting.

I honestly had higher hopes for this drama from the beginning but the moment they moved on to the second arc it became stale. I definitely was not enjoying it that much apart from Wu huan as a villain the moment I couldn't watch the beautiful love dynamic between Bai jue and Shanggu because that's really the only thing that reeled me in. Seeing those two out of the story basically made the next 30 episodes barely bearable. They were amazing character like Gu jun, Fengran, Jianjian, Tianqi and Yuemi however the ending was just not it for me. The villains got what they deserved and everyone seemed to have the closure or punishment they deserved but I feel they could have at least added about 15 minutes to the ending instead of leaving it like that. It was a happy ending but not satisfying enough for the leads in my opinion I feel their love story ending was rushed and they could have at least shown us more of our amazing leads. I love the drama, not a lot of dramas can make me cry, laugh, or feel giddy and be soaked in such cuteness beacuse i did find it beautiful but I just dont feel they did enough justice for Bai jue and Shanggu's love.

I haven't watched Ancient love poetry but i checked it out and I'm definitely putting on my list and I'm sorry if my comment sounded offensive to Cdrama. I wasnt refering to all cdrama but Alchemy of Souls is far from a flop and even if it has a low rating I'm sure a lot of people will agree with me that just the fiest two episodes are amazing assuming you had watched to say that.

I honestly thought this story was going to flop in the second episode with them both being weak beacause thats literally what happens. The story is dragged and it becomes boring but I was wrong completely. The story just keeps progressing and I am glad the writers stopped the cliche of dramas being dragged at a certain point. The first 20 minutes alone got me hooked and I see no intention of this drama being dragged. The leads chemistry is amazing and I have no idea why there's a low rating. Even though it starts of looking like a cdrama it is not even close. When I say the CGI is amazing compared to some cdrama I mean it even being a fan of cdrama myself. Conclusion: If I wanted to introduce anyone to kdrama this one is definitely at the top of my list.

I am glad someone is finally saying this .. drew me in for like the first two episodes but didnt even get to show the story behind the female lead until the 9th. The thrill wasnt just there.
