The first ever mistake in it was cho byeong kyu's late entry which gives the audience a feel that they were shooting first season and some actors Yeom Hye Ran, Kim Se Jeong, and Yoo Joon Sang acted their worst and not best like there was some kind of competition going in for them to see who's gonna performe worst.
And the most infuriating thing that made me drop it was Korean actors trying to speak in Chinese with their worst accent ever like they didn't even try to improve.
They should have either hired Chinese actors or the Korean actors should have spoken in Korean without trying to force Chinese language and accent. Even their acting was bad accent aside.
Well two TV series," Blind" and "Big Mouth" are kinda no for me. They are good, no doubt about it but As Directors of these two stories made it so obvious in the first two episodes who the main villains are behind everything from the start.
And these types of things where the villains are made so obvious aren't worth my time
I have seen enough of dramas with sad endings. Plz don't let this be one of them.
This drama is one of few that I think is well made because in my opinion it has a very beautiful balance of story, acting, graphics, pacing, dialogues and most of all emotions.
I liked all actors because of their superb acting but one I didn't like is Jin Mu, I don't like those characters who perform villainous roles so well that it makes me wonder if they really are villains.😶😒
I don't know what to say. I didn't enjoy it. First episode was fine for me, let's just say it's opening episode so no problem there. And I watched episode 2&3 with so much difficulty. That is it for me.
Or maybe it's just me as after watching so many dramas of this genre, I lost interest. But I haven't seen any episode after 3rd episode.
If it's good then c'mon ppl(people) give me some motivation to watch and enjoy this series.
These dramas are clear example as to why Koreans should stay out of time travel genre. Everything is worst than worst. Even movies/dramas of old times( 1960+) are better than these ones.
I just wanna punch these guys and their brains,. It's like they are mocking the whole science itself. I know things can deviate and things could be different because we are still in hypothetical process of time-travel but man you guys don't even try to back up your hypothesis and no explanation for our minds to accept. I mean in Alice how can her future self exist after killing her past self?how can past and future self exist together face to face? Do their actions not affect the future? If yes than why did they do it but if not than how and why did their actions not affect their future? Etc etc......
You guys could simply say that those theories are wrong and nothing happens when future self kills their past self. Time doesn't try to repair itself if both past and future come together face to face, we could accept it and move on but not even trying to answer anything.
These dramas can't even be compared to time travel animes.

{Another thing hate almost every asian drama for especially chinese dramas is that story doesn't reaches its final conclusion in its first season, they leave a leeway for next but don't deliver it. If they do deliver it, cast gets messed up}
This story has more cons than pros. Cons:- - exaggerated schemes beyond the point. - plot armour being too strong to always happen approximately in every episode. - every other girl falling in love with ml. - Story not reaching complete ending. - no significant back story of other characters - in my opinion there were lots of unnecessary filler scenes to increase episode. - Less focus on main story and more on fillers. - Ml doesn't have anything unique about him except his personality. Because there are lots of characters more talented than Ml. His brother and any martial arts master he met is more talented than him in martial arts. Every other lord/helper or whatever being smarter than Ml.(people will say that Ml is smart but I don't consider it being smart so don't try to explain to me as to how he is smart) - Everyone out there doesn't want to fight Ml. Theu just back off on their own. Like when he took the consort. Or when they were in his brother's sect. The only fights Ml had throughout the journey were I think with zhao Kai. - lots of characters still remained a mystery.
Pros:- - Genre that I like: historical and fantasy elements in the mix with wuxia. - Ml being free spirited and always trying to be independent. - not bending to the rules. - cast
In my opinion webnovel is a mess. I couldn't read it after 200 or so chapters. But I kinda enjoyed the drama. The acting of overall cast was better than good and the funny snippets.
This drama was like a muddy water. Lots of things were brought together, conceptually good but poorly executed. A great ruined idea. Acting was also super bad. Main cast had less screen Time than support roles. After first 20ep story went downhill . I had high hopes but this drama wasn't even 5% good. If all the story was packed into 16_20 episodes than this could have become a great story(though I like series to have lots of episodes:- but if more episodes ruin the story then fewer the better).
I hate dramas in which they switch actors. It kinda kills the mood. In my opinion it's better to not make other season if you are gonna change actors. If you are gonna change the actor then introduce a new character for them.
I'm with you on this one. I totally agree with your review. I don't know why do Chinese dramas have sad endings (at least the ones I watched never got any happy ending). Maybe chinese think that love can never come to fruition or maybe they as being co**ni*t country wants to spread some kind of sad culture to it's people and world.
Acting of the characters in this drama was amazing. I think you haven't seen lots other c/k/j dramas for you to be so biased. I felt the emotions of the characters through their acting. Or in my opinion you my friend have no idea how to appreciate good things. Don't be so self centered and biased about things. If you watch flthis drama with a little bit of Open mindedness and a little bit different perspective then I'm sure you'll enjoy it but you won't as you have set your idealogy in stone.
Yea no, if only I had read your review. Now after watching episode 28 , the ending of episode 29 didn't sit well with me. It's just my own idea whether it's good or not idk. If there was continuation of it for season 2 like he doesn't grow old, looks far and wide (meanwhile the world has grown beyond imagination during his journey to find her again). He comes across lots of new things, new people and new plot while on his journey to find her. He finds her and protects her from the shadows seldom coming in contact with her.

I usually get first five episodes of 3/4 series. binge watch them and then decide which to watch and which to reject. You should also do that.
Acting was also super bad. Main cast had less screen Time than support roles. After first 20ep story went downhill . I had high hopes but this drama wasn't even 5% good.
