The ending felt rushed, inc for HY. Don't try & make much sense of BZ at the end, cause the writer wrote it badly, like he was in a rush to make him the big villain suddenly, but he couldn't follow through with it🤷🏻‍♀️. Wang Duo's scenes in the black costume were also cut, so that won't help either.

Someone else said, the system didn't add up. As a human HY was also able to seal 3 demons. I think they where trying to go for: redemption was given to the 3 demons for their past against humans & vice versa, mirrored with BZ. BUT it wasn't done well. I actually wished he'd died, it's better than the twisted situation the writer left him with😭.

The dir/ writer can't blame any IP for coming up with that idea, it's all him😏.

Yeah, it's all weird. That inc HY's ending as well. Things just happen so to move the plot, but it's sudden. WD filmed over a month in the last look. So scenes were cut, which prob explains why it's like whiplash, BUT it doesn't explain that weird sis/PP thing lol.

If you're interested, WD's next drama is a male centric Xianxia, v diff anti- hero XX, they'll be wearing hessian rags. He'll be a homeless ruffian/ assassin. It's with Wang Hedi, + Guo Yunqi (Xiao Mu) is in it too! It's called 'Salted Fish Ascension' or 'Live Long & Prosper' Peace🤣.

WD didn't get more screentime than Neo. He was missing for about 8/9 eps.

His fans aren't happy with what they did to BZ either. The orig leaked script was actually better but what ended up in the drama was😤, making the turn from nowhere OOC, similar to Dali's. It was the writer who was possessed when he wrote the end inc that weird PP/ Tan'er situation, like whaaattt TF😭.

I'm only on 38, so there's only 1 eps like thiss🙃. Looking forward🔥😻

Don't get me started on what the writers did to BZ's char. I knew about the leaked script already, so I was prepped for the weird PP/Tan'er switch. However, what we ended up with on screen is worse than expected. The writer added ambiguity to BZ's relationship towards PP when there was none in the earlier script. & they kept the actress's face the same just to be extra sick😶.

Then there was the OOC 180 to make him the antagonist, because they needed one, but that was badly written with no logic or build-up. It feels like the writer/dir can only deal in black or white, he tried to do complex without the depth. The priorities are wrong., as the places where we need more depth, there's none, while certain scenes are going on too long going nowhere, or just for laughs.

I was looking forward to this & expecting better. It feels like the hard work & good actors have been squandered... RANT OVER. Maybe I'll feel diff after a time😐.

I don't know how the writer fumbled BZ's char. It looks like they wanted to shoehorn him as the antagonist without any proper logic making him OOC. & then he's given this freaky situation with PP/ Tan'er 😒lol. Tbh, BZ living will be just as cruel in that sick set-up. Most of his fans are not happy, as on top of this he's getting hate from some for killing the cute demons. Sounds like the writer has wasted all the good actors on this mess of a mess👏🏻👏🏻.

BE's are his thing😅. I can't read CN, but from the comments (& if they haven't changed it), his ending is a good one but a little bitter-sweet depending on how you feel. I'm happy with it❣ While he's under Pian Pian's spell he'll get poisoned & possessed. I won't spoil the end as they might not have revised it as it links to the Yuli Spring. There's also a chance Zhao Liying may still have a scene left depending on how they want to play it too.

Unless they changed it, there was a leaked script going around in Sept. I only saw the discussions mainly on BZ, but the impression I got is it will be a HE for the mains. We'll have to see if they've revised it tho.

That, plus Tan'er was 1st a phn, then a helicopter for BZ lol🙃.

Thx for the explanation. So I guess because HY never actually 'dies' in the 10,000 yrs(apart from the sealing for 100). He doesn't get reborn randomly, as demon XY made it destined he would be DL. While XY in the 1st life, which we're gonna see soon, she somehow dies so she enters re-birth as part human & demon. It's quite complicated (to me😅) I hope they have can land all this drama in the next 2 days.

The 1st life is white haired XY who was a demon ( dragon) & it was her that punished human HY to be a demon & he becomes the demon lord.

The 2nd life is XY from the present 3rd life who goes back & tries to save the demon lord HY. Ning- An/ Xiao Yao are linked & the same person.

Going back 10,000 yrs the 3 demons want her to see why HY is not a victim but the one who she hated. And how XY was the reason he ended up as the Demon Lord. What I don't understand is how come she herself was switched to human, or maybe that explanation is coming up soon🧐
