Yes 😁🙋🏻. If the writer did write it like that, I would be so impressed. NXY's life is like a degraded/twisted version of Tian Ming's values. Like a mockery version of TM's feeling to 'protect' turned into an obsession & the fate to never get love or be remembered😥.

Yeah, it's because they're in a unique position; they both can't die but can't live for themselves either. I can see why AZ gains human feelings, as she was nurtured by human ZM's blood. While TM wasn't, so he's closer to the 'factory setting'. But from his actions of taking the blows for AZ, we see him start to question his existence/the restrictions.

I feel TM isn't in 'love' with AZ. I'd say it's protection towards her, like a 'soul mate' or a 'twin'.

+1, count me in🥰. It's interesting to see the beginnings of his inner conflict with himself, & his questioning of his existence. I'm suspecting his cruel life as NXY was a trial for defying Hao Tian.

I agree with every point. Particularly the 'hyper-focused' part. From what I've seen in CNS SM. It tends to be cp fans/ some fans of the lead who are aggressively focused towards his existence & story, they just want him GONE basically.

I'm thinking the same as you. NXY's fate was like a twisted-up version of the orig TM that was seen 10,000 yr ago. There he is shown defying Hao Tian when he stepped in to help AZ. He felt 'protection' towards AZ like a twin or soulmate. But as NXY they made it into a crutch/ obsession😏.

The author said that NXY was stained by the 7 mortal senses & his origin as TMS made him particularly unable to cope with & understand NXY's traumas.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice TM's highly impractical costume with that deep V, lol😏.

He doesn't vex me actually. I think the recent parts fleshed out his back story. It looks like he via AZ is starting to also question his existence. He did defy Hao Tian to help her out etc. I want to know what HT punished him with. Also I don't think he 'loves' AZ. It looks more like protection for a soulmate.

That's what I'm feeling. It looks like ZM was created superhuman to go against the Devine clan. The only person to gain would be Hao Tian.

Yes, NXY was already tool-like in parts to push the plot forward for the ML's. So having more background on the artefact's conditions & life is useful to elevate it from predictability. I find TM's story & his inner struggle interesting too.

Hahaha, it took me a while to accept this🤣. But I like him even more now. He doesn't take himself seriously and is low-key. You never know if you'll get 'urban' Duo or an edgy fashion boy Duozi the next day🧐. His acting transcends all that 🧄, as his temperament in the drama is fooling us well😅.

Lol the snake fight scenes🤭, there's good bts of how they filmed that. Mentioning DL, I'm hoping they might quietly release 'The Night Traveller' someday. It looks good, & it's such a shame it's buried for now😶.

'BR' is an open/HE. If you have time, I recommend it, as it's the one where you see his acting. He was phenomenal & v. intense as Gongzi. Or if you're short on time, the movie 'Yin Yang Master: Dream of Eternity'—he plays 3 characters, 1 a puppet in love &... he is topless 25% of the time, not to take away from his acting there😏.

As for 'Blemish Flaw,' I heard they're all gonna be dysfunctional, but as you guessed, it's supposed to be full of re-directs & reversals. They've styled him 'Fei Du' like there.

Yeah, we're used to him causing divisions with his roles too🤭. Have you watched Bloody Romance? Because the director went on to acclaim with 'The Knockout' he has worked with WD again for 'Xiao Yao,' and that one should be interesting. Also, the main role in 'Blemish Flaw' is a Yandere artist/murder suspect🙃. That's the one I'm most looking forward to; it's the same team that did 'Heroes' and 'Eternal Brotherhood,' and that might be coming out next...
