Re: Support. I don't know if you know about his 4yr absence due to other ppl's cancellations. If you're on 'XHS' you'll knw he's nothing like his roles, especially his mukbangs😁, + he does 'crosstalk' dry humour. He is chilled but it's got to be hard as I remember Yang Zi tearing up when her drama was canx, & he's had several that were done-in.

They had 2 issues. They're unhappy that SZN had more materials as she appeared x4 (ZBB, WD + vid & posters). They're not happy WD had a vid, and she's in it. It got nasty. Some of his fans began to smear/make up stories about him. They want WD's video removed and other materials added to level with SZN, plus an apology from Liu Ning (producer) for "disrespecting" the rights of the ML.

I get their issue. However, attacking WD is not it. He had no say in what they did.

For me it's a happy ending as there are clues in the last ep that point to it. The writer also wrote an epilogue on Weibo suggesting there's more to the end.

I'm the same. I thought I saw 50+ dramas last yr only to see on MDL '15 completed', & I didn't list all the drops. It's funny to say this on a drama forum, but I've got a short attention span so watching all the way through is hard going if it's repetitive/ draggy.

I didn't realise He Shupei did 'TW is Love'🤔. From what I know Liu Ning has bigger control as its from his studio. Tho, I had to grit my teeth watching 'AOLove' (dropped 10 eps b4 the end), but I loved 'Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms'. What's good about his studio is that they do listen to suggestions. There were criticisms about the make-up/ costumes, they then made visible changes. So hopefully he'll be dynamic on this project🤞🏻.

As for Vin, he's Mr Smoulder. When I saw him on 'TMOPB', the screen literally started smouldering. So when I heard he was working with my fave actor (WD), I was excited. Plus there's Zhang Yaqin & SZN. I didn't know SZN but after seeing her clips & their studio live, I really like her. She's switched on, cute/funny. In her clips she has weight & a strong screen presence that's more than just looks. So if this is halfway decent I have a feeling she'll do well out of this.

Thx for taking the time to explain🌞, I think I get it now. So after the war with SQ, MXL falls into a coma, NXY looks after her, while XXC goes away to the Lotus Island. But due to the laws of destiny, he can't go back to the 18y old point but has to give up his 'spiritual orifice' which brings MXL in the mortal realm back to life while XXC dies (he's now Demon Lord/ZM). MXL then kills NXY to bring XXC/ZM back...

For someone who's 1st time reading CN fantasy, you did much better than me. It's intricate. If they can get this story straight, this should be good as there's alot good actors + the production looks great.

I dropped ' Winner is Love' but there are good CN dramas out there. But like you, I'm looking forward to this one, hope they get the story straight😵.

I get the NXY & MXL mortal bit & that MXL has to kill 'Destiny Book' to bring back XXC from the Demon Realm. But the - ' when MXL dies, then revive -> XXC dies, back to be Demon God' …Does that mean MXL's death affects him too?

I thought NXY (Tian Ming/Destiny Book) defeated MXL (HDZ) so wondered why he went down. It makes sense your way. I need to re-read as it was a while ago + I didn't grow up with Xianxia culture. Now you mention Zhao Ming/ XXC/ Demon Lord - I'm confused about the order it happened. I thought XXC became Demon Lord after NXY in the mortal realm re-awakened and fought him & he was imprisoned there. But come to think of it, it could of been when XXC made a deal with the 'Mirror Wheel' God to go back in time for MXL🥴.

The 'Chicken, Egg' analogy is so true. Part of the story is them trying to defy fate and paying the price. If the writers can do this part justice, it'll be the icing on the cake & this drama will be so good.

Now you mention 'amorous eyes' I can't imagine how that'll work😅. In the clips, he looks soppy/puppy love, while GQM seems similar to the book.

From the BTS & the actors, it looks good so far. Hope they don't mess up the story...

I know I'm going to feel bad for him, WD does complex grey yandere too well. I actually don't get NXY & FL1's story in the immortal realm. Like why did NXY also end up a mortal, was he punished/did he defy heaven to join MXL...
