This drama is so soft and nice that feels like a warm embrace.... It's a cuddle and a slap at the same time. I smile and then, suddenly, I want to cry while watching it. That's because I can actually feel what they feel. The beauty of it is that most of those feelings lie in their eyes, more than words, which makes it even more powerful. Deep emotions are conveyed in a soft, yet not shallow way. Nice work by everyone here, it's one of the best drama I'm watching. And the OST are lovely too.

Obviously, they didn't get together in just a few days, but from a viewer point of view it happened too fast. The whole thing was not balanced at all. I mean, they dedicated 40 episodes to show us how infatuated she was with JR and then in just a couple of episodes they make the main leads fall in love and get together. As a viewer, I perceive that it was too quick and not well developed. Everyone can perceive that she was too sfiff around JR as she was never in love with him (even tough she stated otherwise) but it's also true that she treated SPC as a little brother for a long time. However, soon after the break-up, she falls in love with him. Not very well balanced in my opinion.

It's very disappointing the way they developed this story. Not because ZZ ends up with SPC, but because one day she believes she is in love with JR and tells him :"I'm sure I don't desire any other man in my life", but after a few days she says: "I love you" to SPC. So she was in love with him even before, when she was in a relationship with JR... Not very good and naive as they like to present her to us. Poor JR... He tried everything and did so much for her. I hope Zhu Yi Long will pick better stories from now on...

I hate those sneaky characters who tries to come in between to get what they want. About JR: it would be completely out of character if he wouldn't respect his mother so deeply. He doesn't react much, because he grew up being like that. Acting calm, thinking by himself even though he feels upset or uncomfortable. From the very beginning, they presented Ms Bai like a dominant figure, who tried to decide everything for his son (for example, the confession during the swing scene, when she realizes that maybe she was wrong by being that kind of parent, since he's now introvert, silent and distant). From what I see, he tries to say what he thinks, but in a calm, docile way. He doesn't want to upset his mother, since she suffers from depression. He asks everyone for comprehension, but he is also more and more in between those problems and near the moment of a break out. He is not the perfect character (a realistic character shouldn't be perfect, just like every human being), but at least he is a mature, responsable man, . SPC is the opposite, completely. I don't think it would be right to make ZZ and SPC a couple in the end, not after all the hurting and sacrifices suffered from JR. She obviously sees JR hurt because of this, but act like nothing happens. Yet she feels controlled by JR and act like a victim. I cannot understand the dynamics of these three characters. The script is horrible. Ok, SPC has improved a bit, but he is not mature yet. He comes to his father’s office while he is speaking of work with JR (with the purpose to upset JR once again, who, on the contrary tries to remain calm and polite, while SPC is just massively rude). Come one, he acts like he has the right to do so, but he has any right to intrude their relationship. A good friend should help her build her life and happiness, without having nothing in return. He belittles JR all the time in front of her and makes things worse. That’s not a good friend, he is just someone who’s trying to steal the girl from another guy. Do you want to do that? Then, do it openly. Speak the truth: say to ZZ who you really are (who is your father and whose company is that), that you love her deeply and you will do EVERYTHING to make her yours. Yet, he tries not to offend his mother or make feel her feel upset, because he knows that she's suffering from depression and is quite sensitive right now. It's true that she is domineering, (like he has also confessed), and since he was a kid, he is used to obey and respect her. However, I think he's just trying to find a way to fix things without major problems with anyone.
Honestly, when I started watching this drama I didn't have any great expectation. I was drawn here because of Zhu Yi Long, but I was hoping that, despite AngelaBaby's acting, it could still be a good work. Nonetheless, now that I'm watching it, I can say that the result is way below my initial expectations. Angela Baby cannot act at all, really. Her expressions are all the same and it's upsetting even the way she speaks... but the real weakness is the characterization of the characters and the fact that they're always putting the "greatness of China" above everything else. I can understand the reason for these patriotic speeches, but I still find them too irritating (Zhen zhen to JingRan: you can only do good things in China, go back to China, shine in China... What???!!!). I like the idea of showing the inner colors of the characters through side stories (selling houses), but I find really annoying that everyone of them act in such a silly way. Above everyone, Zhen Zhen. She is stupidly righteous and naive, but in a very adolescent way. She should depict a strong adult woman, with clear beliefs, ideas, opinions. She's not strong at all, she acts like a teenager. Moreover, she's always putting his nose into everyone's business. Who do you think you are? I've already watched the first three episodes, so now everything is more evident. Maybe I'll follow your advice and I'll stop when they break up. So far the drama isn't that bad though. We'll see! :)
