On As You Stood By Nov 17, 2025
I felt very annoyed for most of the time. It's like it was underdeveloped and sloppily done sometimes. I don't know, what was wrong, but it didn't convince me. I saw way better dramas about this topic.

watching this for lyn and i am enjoying it but as a watcher of variety shows, does anyone else think the editing…
THIS! you are right! The editing is all over the place and the games are... I don't know... they don't fit the show somehow, a bit weird.

I decided to watch this show because of LYN and I really enjoyed the first episodes, very funny. The last episodes were a bit more confusing and kind of weird. They are travelling, but this doesn't feel like a travelling show.... most of the games happen inside and the way the show is edited it's kind of confusing. Plus, the games they are playing are not even that funny tbh. It looks kind of repetitive and forced in some point. I'll still watch the following episodes... I really hope it will get better

I find myself fast forwarding alot.
I didn't find the same depth in it, to me many scenes were unnecessary. But it's okay, we all like and perceive different things in the same product. This wasn't particularly worth of MY time, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I tried really hard to finish this drama, but I find it incredibly boring. It was okay in a few episodes, but overall... I think, it lacks something. I couldn't go past ep 20, too slow.

Title No Gain, No Love Spoiler
Hmm. The drama had some of the most fun with tropes that I’ve ever seen, using and subverting them at the same…
The subversion a certain clichés was the reason I finished the drana in the first place, but the story itself, in term of narration and things happening was nothing new or special. It was okay overall and I laughed a lot during some scenes (e.g. the CEO hitting the writer's dad with those... ehm, you know what..). The love story was kind of boring after a few episodes, plus the ending was mega boring and clichés were not revised or subverted in the slightest. I hate those "six months later..." thing.

It has the taste of something already seen... so it's getting boring. Right now it looks like they don't have any great idea.

Don't we like dramas with psychopaths? and sometimes we feel sympathy for them too, such as in MOUSE, but nobody…
MOUSE is a great example!!! best drama of the last years (or ever)!
That's what I mean, some people says that we are messed up in the head just because we like an evil character. They cannot differentiate real life from a drama, which is ridiculous. Moreover, there's nothing much to see in this drama. All the characters are so weak without depth and development. For ex, FL is strong but this side wasn't even explored that much in the drama. Such a waste of time!

It's funny to see comments of people annoyed by the fact that many like the villain. I mean, he was the best character in this, the most complete. I'm not speaking about the things he does (he is evil for sure) but about how is character is the one that has a story, a background behind everything. What do we know about the ML? Almost nothing, that's why many can't get close to his character. Shi Oh also has more chemistry with the FL. That's undeniable.
And please let's try to separate reality from fiction! If we like an evil character doesn't mean we support omicide and drugs.

The only thing worth watching is the villain. He is beyond salvation, that's clear, but this could have been handled…
Exactly! He only had the worst in life and he doesn't know another way of living... 'Kill or be killed' is what he learned from his own experience. She, as the main character, could have shown him something different. But NO. She also deceived him in the worst way possible, because he though she was his only friend (and love interest). I can't like her, no matter what her reasons are...

Exactly! As you said she is a poorly caricature of a heroine that's why many people dislike her. No depth whatsoever.

Title Strong Girl Nam Soon Spoiler
The only thing worth watching is the villain. He is beyond salvation, that's clear, but this could have been handled…
Dramas are fake worlds, we're not into a reality so I don't want to analyze it from that POV. This is not even a serious drama, since everything is quite ridiculous and over the top.
I understand your point of view, but the story was build in a way so we could like the villain as well. They have chosen a good-looking villain for a reason. They shared with us his background and what he went through just to destroy him at the end without any sort of way out? Why feed viewers those expectations just to let down all these premises?
It's not her responsibility to fix him, but I can't hide the fact that I would appreciate another sort of character.
Also the worker she tricks with fake compliments is just a worker, not evil, but she is fake with everybody for her own reasons. I don't like her character because has no depth, it's one-dimensional. The same goes for the other female characters, they treat like trash almost everybody.
I can't like her. She is childish and could have handled things in a different way. When he asked her what she think abt him killing her mother she just went with "Ok, no problem!! I support you!". I can't like her for being this kind of poorly written character.

Title Strong Girl Nam Soon Spoiler
This drama is a huge mess, but I kept watching it and I'm angry at myself for that.
The only thing worth watching is the villain. He is beyond salvation, that's clear, but this could have been handled in a different way.
He is bad (and honestly, how could he not turn bad by living that life?), but for the first time in his life he started to be human, to feel something, to trust. He wanted to feel the warmth, only to realized in the worst way possible that the light he was seeing was fake, the only person he came to trust in his entirely life betrayed him in the worst way possible. He even cried because of her.
I dislike more the FL than the villain at this point. At least he was always honest about him and his background; while she is unbearable to watch, with those fake smiles and empty words. Even when he told her more about what he went through, she didn't even care a bit.
And the love she feels for the police officer is like magic: it appeared from nowhere. No depth in that feeling. I can't feel anything and I skip their scenes like crazy.
To me she's trash and selfish. She could have been his salvation, the way out of all that darkness. Even without accepting his feelings, she could have helped him, BUT she only participated in transforming him a worse version of himself.

Currently at episode 11. I have to say that I definitely prefer the part with the kids, everything was lovely, exciting and extremely well acted. The last few episodes with the older versions were boring af. I only hope it gets better because the show is surely worth it.
