omg i thought the same thing, for a 12 episode show, the romance is moving slow, actually not even happening as of now? 😭i am also a bit confused why it take so long, usually there would be a couple of moments here and there to hint it but... we only got one touch of hands and that was it? kinda meh

I am guilty of ignoring recent titles with bogum, because i slowly lost interest in his acting a few years ago. well this one is a good slap on the face cuz what the helly? i definitely jumped straight in because of my girl sohyun and I am so glad I did. amazing production, acting is top notch, and this is proof to me that ignoring bogum was a mistake 😞his acting is AMAZING, especially for this role he is killing it. i love how this drama is alao pretty straight forward- at least for now. bogums character might be lawfully honest and ethical yet he does things the right pace and adds a little bit of a stupidity to it(makes it fun). i cant wait for this case to be explained, it cant be that easy, we are in for the 16 episodesss!!! i am so hooked

Oh and! Heo Nam Jun, sorry but!!! A BIG SHOUT OUT, this guy had such amazing facial expressions it felt like he was not playing but idk it felt real when he was on screen! I am definately going to watch other works of him, cuzzzz I feel like we shouldn't be sleeping on a gem like him!

Not to be ungrateful, but it's been ages since I watched something as good as When The Phone Rings. I had high expectations and the ML did an amazing job portraying different emotions. It was my first time seeing him on screen. The story was going the right way and the feeling of ending soon too. However, I have no idea what they did in the last two episodes. Too much happened and it felt rushed. It felt as if they had 101 ideas and had to put them all together because the producers could not end in agreement.

I definitely give it 9/10, the story was amazing, but the last two episodes idk,, made me very confused and out of nowhere!

I think it needs to be clarified that it is not a live adaptation of the manga. the series portrayed the story well, personally I found it really predictable all the interactions, all the outcomes - everything. however it was a great watch. i really like heidi, but ofc it is because we already have migi who we support (anime/manga)✨i would suggest people to watch but if you are a BIT familiar with all the parasytes you might find yourself thinking "now this will happen", if that will put u off maybe just do not watch it.

but yeah, not a bad watch 🙌

Yeahhh! it was so hard to watch, she went through so much and although her student was the very one approaching her fist all the time, she took all the blame (I mean ofc she the adult but yh) and she kept strong until the end! it was a very satisfactory ending, she is still teaching and he is old enough to know and make his own decisions! Basically waited until it was more appropriate 🤣

welp, they really did drift apart because of the distance and their both "second options" standing in front of them, but her feelings for the student were more serious so they broke up because of that. But Kawai also showed a side of him she did not appreciate nor agree with.

uhmm it is a bit confusing- a lot of things happened. Kawai developed feelings for his boss a bit later on, and she did too, however she overstepped and kissed him first, nothing after that. Then after Hijiri and him broke up he got witth his boss.

I totally agree. Everyhting is happening so fast,, but they have great chemistry, I cannot stop :D

Okay, but am I tripping or is it getting boring? Like I loved the first five episodes all the funny moments, the little hints of the story, the people involved and why are they involved?? Right now it's just as basic as everything else. Very predictable at times and super cringe, and believe me I LOVE CRINGE, however this is just straight boring and very annoying at times. I won't drop it probably, cuz I've been waiting way too long for Bae In Hyuk to be casted in similar kind of drama... but it's getting worse with each episode. And that makes me sad.. Also SML.. what the heck??

Everyone will love him if they give him a role similar to 20th Century Girl but in a series. We will all go crazy. I cannot wait for people to recognise his talent (stealing hearts) in acting!
