Either this plot or not, Sima Jiao will die and reborn as mortal. Even in the novel he did.
She wasn’t even asking about whether to watch the drama in the first place—she asked about the amnesia plot. I shared my personal POV on that point, and at no point did I discourage her from watching; she’s already watching it!.
I’ve seen plenty of cdramas, old and new, where the amnesia trope actually worked well because it was handled creatively. I don’t mind it when it adds something fresh. But here, the problem isn’t the trope itself—it’s the repetition. We keep going in circles. We’ve got a literal Demon King in the story, and yet the plot keeps looping back to Qian Lu and random third-rate characters like Feng Qi popping out of nowhere after 2/3 of the story!.
Anyway, I just hope in the next arc we’ll finally see something new—without dragging these same characters back again.

The fact that I criticized a single bad arc—which means I was enjoying the show—and your obsessed superfan brain immediately screams 'troll'? That's called a critique. It's how normal viewers work. Sorry if you can't handle a single negative opinion without having a meltdown.

😂 So, all Chinese dramas are clichés, huh? That's quite an accusation!
Look, even if a lot of them are full of clichés, they're usually entertaining and still make sense.
But seriously, in our drama... you think this f-ing Qian Lu, who keeps popping up in every arc (first as an immortal, then a demon, what's next, a human?), is actually entertaining? Or how about that annoying Feng Qi? Is any of that supposed to be fun to watch?
No, what she needs to do is hire people who knows what they're doing, get new friends. What people should do is…
No and yes at the same time, due to pressure, she's emotionally and psychologically unstable, so she needs to give herself a rest to recover properly. When it comes to people, they will never stop being nasty; it's human nature. There will be good and bad people until Judgment Day, and the bad ones should be ignored. Why even give a f--- about them?
Right as if the racism wasn't enough, they also had to choose iblis as the name. 💀
It's ironic that these actors, directors, screenwriters, and producers don't know that South Korea itself has so many issues and negative aspects that could be used to stereotype and ostracize their whole country. It's easy to mock their culture and beliefs, or even their way of life. Koreans and South Asians have faced discrimination for centuries and still do, especially from Europeans. Yet, they have no shame in using the same vile tactics that are used against them on others. What an ugly mindset!
In my opinion she should retire for some time until she resolves all of her issues, then return with a strong comeback. The only thing she is doing now is harming herself
She's just trying to save her clan members. Can't really blame her..
Ting Yan doesn't even know her true ability, which was hinted at in the last chapter, "The Extreme Cold." This makes her completely blind to what she can do. Since she doesn't know about her ability, she can't use it, so how can she help in this situation? You Ru Ling girl, you need to be honest with your friend from the beginning; then you will be able to find the solution together.
