I'm thinking I'll rewatch this before the remake comes out. This was one of the first K-dramas I watched so I don't really remember that much of it.

Agree. Snowdrop shouldn't be judged on some "leaked" plot. The drama could be completely different when it airs. I hope they continue with the production, but handle it very carefully since it's obviously a sensitive topic to Koreans.

I can't believe the manga is almost twenty years old now! I had to give up keeping up with it a long time ago lol. Anyway, this drama version looks good so I think I'll check it out :)

I can't claim to know anything about the democratic movement in South Korea. I have yet to really explore Korea's history. But I think it's ridiculous to make so much fuss out of historical dramas. They're television and made to entertain not inform. Of course, one drama can lean more towards facts than another but every drama has some embellishments.

She is attending a demonstration school which seems to be like high/secondary school but with a more specialized program (according to wikipedia). In Thailand, it appears that a lot of demonstration schools are attached to universities so maybe she intends on going to Chulalongkorn after graduating their demo school.

I really liked this movie! Hana Sugisaki is my fave.

Haha, agree so boring. We already know Wee killed her sister and then Sirin. There was no point to have such a long flashback -_-

This drama has caught my eye just based on aesthetics. I haven't watched a C-drama in a while so I think I'll check this one out :)

I wonder how much of the manga this version will cover, or if they'll go for a 2nd season like the J-drama.

Started watching this version to compare it to the manga and the other dramas. On the fourth episode currently, it feels somehow draggy and rushy lol. The first episode barely covers two chapters, so very draggy. The next three move at a better pace, but feels like it's rushing through the manga. Based on comments and spoilers I've read, I feel like it will get more draggy later on.

This version is still my favorite and probably always will be. But, Yuki in this version really annoys me. I get that her character is not supposed to a main but they gave her such little character development compared to the manga. I guess cause this version is shorter than the others... Original Meteor Garden does her character the best and also shows her nuanced bond with Sojiro. I also like her in Meteor Garden 2018, despite some changes. I've yet to form an opinion on her in the Korean version since I'm currently watching it, though I already feel that their Yuki is better.

I don't have much faith in C-drama adaptations because of censorship. Nana in particular has a lot of adult themes so it won't be like in Meteor Garden 2018 where they just took out all of the bullying. Well, I guess it's nice to see new Nana content anyway since the manga will never be finished.
