I feel bad for Hae-hyo. You can tell this is the first time he’s really struggled in life. His parents have completely unprepared him for any sort of hardship, but now they’re criticizing him for his career stagnating. As parents, they should always be encouraging him. Instead, they only seem to be there for him as long as everything’s good.
This is why I like Hye-jun’s mom and grandpa. Thanks to them, he has been able to stand on his own. But they are there for encouragement or comfort, if he needs them.
Haha the "static kiss." I find it both funny and annoying. The real bad thing about it is that it sometimes ruins the mood of the entire drama. I almost wish the main couple wouldn't kiss at all, if they were just gonna kiss like THAT. I'm happy that most newer dramas are straying away from that. Do You Like Brahms? has some really good kissing scenes.
After watching episode 14, I felt really disappointed. How could the author make Kim Hu Jeong the kidnapper of…
It’s not unthinkable why else would they write it in the show? I’m sure there’s some specific cases in Korea they got it from. Also I’ve heard similar cases from the US.
I knew Min Sung was going to annoy me from the 1st episode... I can understand why she would be upset with Song Ah for keeping a secret like that, especially since she still likes Dong Yun. Though honestly I would've done the same thing cause it's a lose/lose situation. I just hope MS doesn't make it a huge deal and it can be resolved quick. I'm impatient for the next episode now >_< (At least this episode had such cute couple moments for SA and JY!)
You made a lot of good points! Tbh I never really thought of it as problematic before, but I can see that now. I wouldn't say I like shirtless scenes. I guess I'm neutral towards them since 99% of the time they're unnecessary. If they got rid of them completely, I probably wouldn't notice at all. I hope that actors stop getting requests to show their abs during interviews. That's definitely a double standard. Imagine if they asked a woman that.
Currently binging and loving this! I couldn’t keep up with the release schedule lol From now on, I’ll probably only binge C-dramas. Their dramas are the most suited for binging anyway.
One thing I've noticed is that people are usually biased towards whichever version of BOF they saw first. To be fair, I'm the same. My first is the Japanese version and always will be my fave, though I can also point out its flaws. I'm sure this Thai version will be a lot of people's firsts and will probably end up being their fave. And a few years from now they'll complain when another new version is being produced. :D
I actually don't hate JK (though I understand why others do). I feel she is a very human character. She hurts herself, hurts others, and is just hurting. I guess I understand her pain, even when I dislike her actions.

No subs though :(
