Changing Pins and Judge Lu were the absolute best stories. Okay, get past the underwater scenes, these two stories were really good!!

I really liked this! 4th Asadora; like this one almost as much as Massan!! Great job, Anne!!

She is great and I'm late to the party! I'm watching her for the 3rd time in Hana Moyu and I've seen a couple of movies of hers. I have Hana to watch but never have but your glowing recommendation on her and Jun's (real or betamax) chemistry will make me finally watch it! I will definitely be adding a couple more to my extensive PTW list!! I'll watch Ohisama after Gochisousan. I've fell in love with Asadora dramas!! Gochisousan will be my 4th!!!

Sadly the writer lost their way and I dropped it at ep 80. Sad because it was very decent at the beginning! I wonder if the actress playing Yewon was a relative? That's the only thing that makes sense of this story!

Well, Changing Pins didn't have a love relationship between the Prince and Fung Sam. He was loyal, yes but sure wasn't love.

This was first drama over 30 episodes that I completed!! I only skipped 1 1/2 because they were just too intense…
Yoona is on my list, I just haven't watched this. I liked this one because the couple stories, while they had their ups and downs were totally separate. And their angst made sense. I truly did love this one!! I didn't know this was the same writer as UA! Now it makes sense why I loved this so much!!

this is really good but I don't understand why so many people like it better than Empress Ki and say she's more…
Wasn't so much the romance as I never expect them in these historical dramas, I was just bored and unfortunately I watched this one instead. See the problem?

Many of these I watched before I even started watching dramas. I've been a HUGE Asian movie fan since the early days of Bruce Lee, Angela Mao, etc. I admit I haven't seen any of the Japanese ones. Will have to look for them! Good list!!

Though the story initially draws you in as it is about sick children and their care; the real sick child that needed curing was definitely Momo-chan!!

Is this worth starting? I'm pretty picky, I love a good story good chemistry between the characters!
Then this is not for you. Taiga are really about the history; romance is secondary or non-existent.

how good is this?? ty for reply
I like it. This is my first Taiga drama and I definitely see the difference in Korean saguek dramas and these. This drama really focuses a lot of the history of the period. It also speaks to women's roles as Miwa/Fumi is one of the main characters.
