not bad kept me interested as I have dropped a ton of big budget dramas in 2023 and 2024 but I was surprised it's somewhat serious when it's about the PR biz and then seems to be comedic almost slapstick in some scenes, Watched for Jin Dong. Tian Yu is good as Jin's bestie.
I dont mind any age difference, even if it’s more than 20 years , if two people are adults . However calling…
in Chinese culture calling someone brother or sister does NOT mean biological bro and sis. It's just a respectable way to address someone older than you. It's hard-wired into you even as a toddler. A mum would say to a young child just learning to talk "give it to your brother" when she's referring to another boy child who may just be 1 year older
I wish they had not used the word sister and brother otherwise it's a well written show. Not sure why it's pedophilic…

Well said👏👏👏This is what I was thinking just now...It is truly bizzare a story because the lines are…
very true. Last century and earlier, many cultures including China girls were ready for marriage by 14, 15. Many cultures if they were younger the marriage may not be consummated until they reach 14, 15. Anyway I know a few girls who had already done the deed with their boyfriends by the time they were 13.
If the Ml adopted the Fl , he is officially her father !!!( perhaps in China is different idk 🤷♀️ )…
chill it's make believe. Anyway "adopted" not blood related, as long as it's not blood related I see no problem with that. Many real life scenarios where a father falls in love with his daughter in law or mother in law leaves her marriage for her son in law. Blood related leads to problems if they have kids.
I really really like it! been waiting for Season 2..will it gonna happen?
I hope this is as good as Miss S, Chinese Republican era socialite who is a crime solving dilettante who solves crimes at about the same speed as the real cops. This is a Chinese remake of the Australian TV series "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries" [2012] starring Ma Yi Li
I have two episodes left. I'm not exactly hooked or emotionally connected with any of the characters. But some…
After watching the first episode, I concluded that like Chulan, you need 100% patience to continue on. This drama will not be to everyone’s taste. It is too zany with lots of overacting. The zombies are laughable. But the appearance of Neo Hou as a Wudang monk makes me want to give it another chance.
Episode 2 You need 100% perseverance to continue watching this drama. This looks like a college drama project. It is as rickety as it can get.
Just bear with the first two episodes, from the third, it gets really better and more interesting and not so slapstick.
I must say there are funny moments. I particularly like the scene when Baobao had to enter the passcode to open the door to their hidden room which looked like the HQ of Men in Black. If you think remembering Google-issued passcodes is impossible, Baobao’s passcode was ten times more complicated.
It seems to me that this drama is receiving more praise than it deserves.

This drama is AMAZING. I have dropped some of the BIG NAME BIG BUDGET historical dramas that others have raved about, but this one got me hooked from the beginning. OK ML is older, but this is reality, not every emperor or king is going to look like Xu Kai or Yang Yang. I am the sort of person who drop dramas even after the first two episodes, but I love this one. Watch and decide for yourself.
