Agree. Makes no sense that they are repeating the same scenes, talking about "new future" - was expecting some…
I haven't watched this yet. But I quote from these 3 which makes a bit of sense.., @Emily "It's so frustrating that she can't just be like; "I'm breaking up with you. Goodbye." @EevaMarie "the issue is that she needs to make sure he makes her snake bestie. this might not happen is she breaks up with him as Snake is only interested in him to spite FML" @amkindabusy "There is also the added complication of having Su Min take on her fate. She has no choice but to play a very long game because of how SM and MH are."
Hmmm I think FL had something to do with the explosion on the boat. Her reaction was too cool knowing your beloved was on the boat. Also immediately afterwards it showed flashback to some embezzlement, shady business deals, suicides, and a girl saying, 'Mom I will find out the truth' or something similar.
I think they never had intimacy in history. Some historians think both of them never liked each other. I mean…
@Olyz excerpts from the above reviews: 1) The Empress longing for the emperor not reciprocated openly though he has strongly wanted to, but each time, the turn of events just prevents them showing their love and admiration for each other. That’s perhaps the most frustrating part for me, seeing both love but missing the chance to show their affection time and time again. 2) The emperor's one true love, the concubine, is also tragic, she truly loved the emperor but was forced to be a demon by the ruthless harem politics. 3) I liked the emperor when he was governing eg the reforms he attempted during the Song dynasty but I hated him the way he dealt with his personal life, including the way he treated his empress and concubines. He wasn't mean to them but he UNINTENTIONALLY hurt them because he was basically clueless. It was especially crushing to see the empress change from a cheerful, smart, opinionated girl trained in martial arts and sword fighting to a repressed, uptight, and infinitely sad woman.
I don't know about others but I'm totally hooked on this show, I was up till 1am catching up and was so disappointed…
one thing for sure the casting of the FL is perfect. She suits the role, good looking a natural beauty with obvious plastic surgery, her cute expressions, her ability to tear up and cry on command. I just love her
I didn’t watch A Date With the Future but I watched Fireworks Of My Heart and I will tell you, IMO this one…
Agree. Tons better than Fireworks of my heart which came out about the same time. Wooden Yang Yang and talentless Wang Churan did nothing for me. Dropped after 2 eps whereas this had me hooked from the start
Im not a fan of the female actress but after watching Johnny Huang in My Dear Guardian, im craving to watch him…
you must catch in the BL drama Addicted. So much better and hotter than the remake that came out in 2023. This was done before Chinese censors took their scissors to BL dramas. I also didn't mind him in Lucky with you. I think that's drama where he met his ex Claudia Wang
