I am going to persevere mainly because of hottie Liu Te who was great in Please Feel At Ease Mr Ling, Cute Bodyguard and Sweet Teeth. And Zhang Jiong Min who I never liked before because he has always played a guy who is a third wheel but he got major kudos for the BL series Stay With Me.

For example the 2nd FL in military camp trying to disguise herself as a man, has 20th Century fake porcelain nails, in Hollywood they would make the actress take them off if they're filming a historical movie. I have seen this several times in CDrama historical dramas where the actresses have had their fake nails done, probably too expensive to rip them off. Also instead of baggy clothes, she has an impossibly tiny waist which is emphasized with a tight belt. Give me a break BUT I am semi enjoying the series. Not bad but not amazing.
