Funny AF. Best ever CDrama/Rom Com with no competing females, no childhood friend who believes they are unspoken future partners etc. Unbelievable.

That's the only thing good the Chinese TV authorities (?) have done. Dramas are now required to be no more than 40(? not sure exact number) eps. Some dramas were caught out by the ruling after they had finished filming had to hastily edited resulting in badly cut scenes, episodes making the drama nonsensical or illogical.

Highly rated. I'm 7 mins into the first episode. According to MDL description "An Ran has become a career-driven entrepreneur. She dreams of rising to the top of the business world". She's moving house and arguing with the removalist and wants to know if she can pay the fee by instalments. The removalist said do you want me to move your stuff by instalments? Like she can't even afford to pay the removalist but she's 'a career-driven entrepreneur'? I almost want to drop it there and then.

You can watch Legacy free on Viki, just not available for Australia Boo Hoo. The subbing on Viki is always fantastic as it is done by humans and not AI generated

Advance Bravely drama was such a non-event. You have to read the novel which is much steamier.

In the original novel Wu Bi's dad was much colder, harder and cruel, especially when he knew they were lovers he made every effort to separate them.
In the original novel if S2 is produced, it's a long time before Wu Bi and Su Yu actually reconnect after the accident that hurt Wu Bi. The accident was caused by Wu Bi's cousin who tampered with the brakes of the car in an effort to kill Su Yu but Wu Bi took the wheel instead.
Su Yu then in agreement with Wu Bi's dad 'disappeared' out of Wu Bi's life and for 7 years Su Yu never contacted him, whereas Wu Bi was looking and searching for him everywhere but to no avail.
The second part of the novel IMO is too unbelievable. The cousin, a businessman, having the power to order the Major (or higher up) to shoot down Su Yu's plane. A lot of BS. But happy days they boys do end up together and 'marry' in their own way ie not a real wedding but a ceremonial one.
