Fantastic article! I sometimes experience PSD, usually with the more "serious" dramas, ones that are very long/epic, emotionally exhausting roller-coasters, etc. In fact, I just went through it again with "King's Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang". Although it had a happy ending, I was bawling and left feeling quite depressed, simply because I did not want it to end. It felt like saying goodbye to old friends that I know I'll never see again...
What I've found, that helps me get over this, is to just take a break from dramas for a little while (a few days or even a few weeks), and then choose something short, light, and fluffy to watch (a sweet rom-com, for example). Then, once I'm done with that, I feel refreshed and ready to jump back into something more serious again. :)
I also try desperately to avoid anything with a sad/bittersweet/tragic ending, as those really put me through the emotional wringer, and leave me feeling seriously depressed and crappy for a very long time.
I tried adding this info as a special note at the bottom of the synopsis, but my edit was denied: "No need for this info." I find that baffling, but, oh well... at least it's here in the comments now, and can help anyone else who may be confused about this.
Some sites have 20 episodes for this series, and others only have 13. Can someone please explain the difference?…
Yeah, I noticed that as well. When I posted my comment, it was showing here as 13 episodes, and now it shows 20. But I don't think it's just a "mistake" in the number total... there seems to be 2 different versions of the series. I just haven't been able to find any info about what that difference is. I think I'll try asking in the forums. Hopefully I'll have a better chance of getting an answer there. If I do, I'll let you know. :) And also make a note of it in the synopsis.
Has anyone done proper English subs for the entire series? At DramaFire and DramaCool the English subs from about…
You're welcome! And I'm SO glad to hear there are proper subs for the whole series! But unfortunately, I can't use torrents... Do you know if these (done by OneTVAsia) are available anywhere as regular downloads?

I'm sorry Rosie, I have no idea who did the subs. Usually, subbers will include their name, website, or email, etc., in the subs, at the beginning and/or end of an episode. But these episodes don't have any info at all, with the exception of the ones I downloaded from DramaFire. They have "Dramafire.com" at the beginning of the episodes, but I think that's just because they did the encoding, not the actual subbing. Same with the ones from DramaCool...they have their logo on all the episodes uploaded at their site. But neither one of those sites includes any information on the series page about who did the subbing. I think the only way to find out would be to contact them directly and ask where they got the subs from.

Yeah, I'm really not sure what's up with this. I've never seen English subs this bad before. It seems that whoever picked up the series for translation at that point doesn't quite understand English and proper sentence structure. It's really, really weird... I've tried to watch several episodes past that point, to see if I can get used to it, but I just can't. Such a shame too, because I've been loving this series so far, but just can't enjoy it anymore because of this. Hopefully someone else will re-do the subs, or perhaps the person who did these will turn their subs over to someone else to fix them. *crosses fingers*
Has anyone done proper English subs for the entire series? At DramaFire and DramaCool the English subs from about episode 60 onwards are just slightly better than gibberish... :( It looks like the Korean subs were just plugged into Google translate, and I'm having a really tough time trying to decipher it. Please let me know if there are better English subs somewhere out there, or if someone is maybe planning to fix them?
EDIT: After doing some more spot-checking of episodes, it looks like the English subs start going "bad" at episode 40, and then around episode 60-ish they devolve into not-quite-gibberish. :(
