It was good, but then it wasn't, but lots of things to say!
So as I binged everything once it finished, it was actually pretty good. While I haven't seen any of EarthMix's other shows (because they were angsty) I knew it was completely different from the clips I've seen compared to this super fluffy (and surprisingly angsty towards the end) show!
So Earth completely nailed his character, I know he played serious characters before and this was a complete 180 of what I saw in 1000 Stars, I don't know much about Mix, but I'm sure this may be the same for him, too. I really like how Earth seemed so bottom-coded in this one, and I guess it may be why I didn't watch the other shows (because I liked this pairing better).
The story was good, but towards the end, it was pretty much going down the drain, even though thank God it was only around episode 10 where it started falling off.
The amnesia was really unnecessary, they should've just cut it and shown us instead what went around in the year of their break-up and maybe changed how things went to truly make it deeper, but I guess in the amnesia sense, it made sense to how things went down the way it did.
I also didn't really like the boss and how he acted, like girl this is crazy power imbalance, and the way it's made pretty clear (and everyone knows) that Heng can't say no. He practically pressured Heng into accepting his proposal, and I don't think neither Mo nor the boss ever even asked him about his opinion to get tgt with them (which made this whole mess [fun to watch, but also kind of red flag])
He did end up falling for Mo, and while that was good, the boss literally NEVER asked Heng and confirmed it with him
The emotional stuff was done pretty well, and I've never seen the original Ossan's Love, so I'm not sure if this was even done right, but I liked the stuff that went down except for the fact that no one ever listened to Heng and just budged in with their own opinions
Love the cuteness of it all! Some things could've been done better, but honestly, I really liked how cute it was.
Whoever wants to buy me the cute saturnworld t-shirt, you are welcome to :)
