Yes that was the king - he was too late to exact his revenge and because of it he wasn't there when his friend dies. The curse was killing so many on the battle field and was activated by being killed by the sword that he used to kill them all. When the Grim Reaper is talking about him I sort of understood a little better.

What Happens to My Family is my favorite role he was in... the acting was pretty good there. I think he's getting a bit better each role he gets. I haven't started Entourage yet though.

I think we sort of know what happened... he chose his career over his family and any sort of relationship. He basically screwed over his brother to get a "leg up" in the business.
