@mikimika101 I really appreciate your reveiw and the reply/reveiw from the user Hi Bye, even though they didnt a agree with your take on the movie I think both of you made valid points.
I have yet to see the movie and I will probably be waiting a long time before I actually will be able to watch it.
I am someone who prefers when Live actions adaptations or anime adaptions stay pretty close and loyal to its original source material so I would enjoy that followed alot of what happened in the novel and would love to see some of those parts play out.
I got the feeling from your reveiw that possibly they tried to bring more attention to the Bl element with the movie and maybe make up for the lack of physical intimacy in the drama with the 'too many kissing scenes'. As much as I will welcome these many kissing scenes and will hopefully enjoy them in context in the movie, ironically part of the reason why I liked the drama adaptation so much was actually because it didnt feel like I was watching a typical 'bl' drama , for me although the characters were male that wasnt so much a factor it was more about their dynamic and relationship so I didnt necessarily need to see them be too intimate or all over eachother unlike in other dramas where I felt like "can I get like one kiss?
I am disappointed to hear that there wasnt much impact or focus on Kiyoi's crying scene after being saved from Hira because I really would have liked to see it simillair to how I heard it in the drama cd.
I'm glad you got to see the movie. I cant wait to see it, for now I will have to rewatch season 1 &2..again.
