I watched it till episode 12 and then the 1 episode per day started and i lost interest. This often happened with other dramas too when i waited so i could watch at least the next two episodes together. If there is not a real pull that i want to continue i lose interest especially if i watch a few other dramas at the same time.
So now i only watch the romance scenes and fast forward the rest because it does not interest me.
The romance is awesome and i really enjoy watching those scenes! I mean the romance was the reason why i started watching this drama in the first place.
Episode 6 Gosh Is so cringey watching lakorn characters being Koreanboo’s.
Especially without any context and in episode 8 she even answered the phone in korean. Who does that when thai's are calling her 99% of the time?! I was actually okay with it in My Secret Bride (great lakorn) but i think she said something like she was in korea or is learning the language. I watched it a long time ago so i am not entirely sure.
I wonder if Fahsai and Samut aren't related by blood? Bc what the hell kind of expression was he making when he…
Great that you are saying it because i was thinking of posting about it too!
Before episode 8 i wondered the whole time why Samut is so composed all the time and is only losing it when it concerns Fahsai. For siblings it was too intense. Even Maysa said he is losing it worse than he would with his girlfriend. And also their father doesn't seem to understand it either.
So my theories up to that scene were: 1. That he loves his sister (but i thought they don't go there) 2. That he feels guilty because maybe the kidnapping was a result of all the bad things he and his father did and he doesn't want something happening to her again 3. He wants to prevent her from finding out all the bad things he and his father did. (which he does in the series, but Fahsai started to do her own thing and he did not like that at all. His control is slipping.)
But since the last episode i wonder if it is really that there are maybe not blood related like you said. Because that embrace felt like : Finally i can be so intimate with her and when he does the more intimate embrace he seems to enjoy that moment to the fullest. Even so that the abused woman recognised it that it looks abusive (her alarm bells going off). She even thought about saying something about it to Fahsai but thought better of it in the end.
What are your theories everyone?
I am really looking forward to the next episode on Wednesday and i hope we get some flashbacks in the remaining episodes because i need some more info about what happened in those last 6 years.
An earlier comment said it was revealed that the ML is a widower. I must have missed it and can therefore someone tell me in which episode this happened?
I can't watch it on WeTV or IQiyi because it is not available in germany, so i am watching it on KissKH. The subs are good but i really don't like that they don't translate the letters, character introductions etc.
Love it so far and look forward to the next episodes/the romance!
Because i liked it so much till episode 19 i purchased a vip month and the express package on WeTV. It was really worth it and only an episode per day would have been torture and the last episodes would not be as enjoyable. Glad an earlier comment mentioned that it has a happy ending. I really liked his marriage proposal and what he said to his father in the last episode.
I always admired the fansubbers because without their hard work I wouldn't have been able to watch so many amazing dramas. It's been a dream for me since then to sub a drama, too. I decided to sub this drama because since it's release i really wanted to watch it and still do. If i could i would binge watch all the 43 episodes at once!
I already subbed 1/4 of 1st episode but it will still take some time because the editing is so much more time consuming than i originally thought and i'm doing this for the first time. Since i hate bad subs i will make sure that they are really good. It is so satisfying if the timing is right and i can finally understand what they are saying!
Since I don't speak a single word thai i can't really complain because without AI translations thanks to VEED + ChatGPT this wouldn't even be possible. Thank god for AI!
I'm really looking forward to enjoy this drama together with you and i will keep you updated!
So for now:
- The drama has a happy ending (I peeked ;-) )
- More detailed synopsis:
"When a ruthless southern king reignites an ancient war to seize a powerful ocean artifact, Princess Anda of the Northern Sea escapes to the human world. With betrayal threatening her family and kingdom, she must fight to protect the Ocean Scepter—and her own heart—from those who seek to control both land and sea."
I also forgot that the subs are so bad and will also watch it hopefully tomorrow on Viki. I was really disappointed because I really wanted to watch it today!
That is an understatement imo. This is ridiculous and since it is not xianxia all the more unbelievable and unintelligible.…
Thank you for pointing them out! I did not catch all of them, so it turns out i turned my brain off. Must be the heat in Germany.
I realized too in today episode that it got on my nerves that the FL seems to be believing the words of the empress/clothing shop owner without trying to find another solution to rescue her brother. Especially if she doubts that he is well.
But what i don't unterstand from the beginning is why she is not trying to find an antidote for the poison herself so that she has the upper hand and is not dependent on the monthly antidote. That would have been the first thing i would have done. She can still somehow pretend that she is poisoned to figure out what the empress really wants and scheme accordingly.
I really felt i lose a bit interest to continue watching today but will see because the story is still interesting....
I wasn't hooked when i first watched the trailer but decided today to give it a shot. And I am glad I did! I really liked the first 2 episodes and will continue watching the series. Yun Gap is such a mood since he is possessed, love it!
Regarding her vision where she is married to him and they have a child together, my theory so far is that it is the Imugi and not the original Yun Gap because his smile had a more cheeky vibe and it is the same cheekiness that Yun Gap shows since he is possessed. I hope i am right because the enemy to lover trope is one of my favorites and so far i am not the slightest bit interested in the story of the original Yun Gap.
We still have 14 episodes to go so we will see!
What i would like to see is that the Imugi decides that he does not want to be a dragon anymore because of the romance with the FL and because he enjoys the joys of being human (for example having taste buds). This also seems to change his view of humans being below him. For the original Yun Gap i hope his soul can leave safely since he was stabbed and therefore died naturally - his time was up. I think that would be an interesting plot!
I only have watched the first few episodes but dropped it because it was not my cup of tea. But i am glad i visited the comment section from time to time so i discovered the ost sung by Neo Hou. So hauntingly beautiful! Still one of my favorites at the moment.

Such a great song! I currently listen to it on repeat with My Pace from BIBI (Perfect Crown Ost)
Great watch!

Judging from the trailer, its going to be epic!
