Thanks for getting back to me. I'll come back around ep. 90 and see how everyone is feeling then. I just want to make sure it doesn't go down hill before I invest a lot of time on another daily drama.
Thank you so much to the Admins and everyone who worked on this new feature. I don’t use dark mode but I know there are a lot of users on here who need (not want) it. I love how much more accessible this site is becoming. Wishing for the continued growth and success of this amazing place :)
Thank you so much for letting me know. I thought it would take her longer to get a divorce so I’m glad to see that’s not the case. How’s the drama so far? Asking because I’m not sure if it’s worth picking it up again.
Lol, I completely get where you are coming from but I'm giving Chu Chu a pass because she was written that way…
You're giving it a chance, yay :) I know, that's why I hate watching T-dramas but I just couldn't wait till October for this one. Having other dramas on the side helped though.
Thank you for getting back to me :) You have no idea how excited I am after reading your comment. I don't want to spoil ep. 6 for myself but I may end up caving in by Tuesday. By the way, thanks for letting me about the recaps. The site might come in handy later on.
Episode 5 was a riot. I couldn't stop laughing. The scene of them fighting over the food was hilarious. They both are so immature. The preview for episode 6 didn't help either. Ugh, waiting for a week is going to kill me.
Debating whether I should drop this or put it on-hold until she divorces her loser of a husband. How she can still be with him while he treats her like that is beyond me.
I hope you enjoy those dramas that you picked. They were amazing..Let me know if you like LDIC, maybe I can give…
A lot of J-dramas have been misses for me so it's a surprise when I find one that I actually like. Like you said, thankfully there are a lot out there and it's just a matter of finding the one that's right for us :)
Lol, I completely get where you are coming from but I'm giving Chu Chu a pass because she was written that way…
Thank you so much for the clarification. I knew she was an editor but I also thought she wrote the story as well. I should go back and rewatch the first episode as well as the first half of the 2nd episode to see what else I may have missed.
This Drama is indeed an eye opening, I don't know how did I tolerate leads like Chocho in other Dramas (damsel…
Lol, I completely get where you are coming from but I'm giving Chu Chu a pass because she was written that way by Xiao En. XE did mention that she never got a chance to complete her story so maybe we will see CC shedding off her white lotus image in the later episodes. All of these characters personality and who they are meant to like was dictated by the writer so if the writer isn't there they can now make their own decisions and form their own personalities. Hopefully, you'll be able to give this one a second chance if you haven't already dropped it :)
Edit: Ignore what I said clearly I must have been watching something else, lol.
So far I’ve seen all four episodes and I have to say I absolutely love this drama. The first episode was really boring for me but once she entered the story the plot picked up. I really love our FL, her character isn’t black or white but grey. She’s very smart and quick on her feet. The fact that she had an argument for why she peeked while he was showering killed me. What made it funnier was how the ML reacted to her argument.
Chu Chu is such a sweet heart and I’m really rooting for her character. Her falling into the ML’s arm whenever she is in danger or trips makes me laugh because this is typically what we see in these damsel in distress dramas.
Poor Duan, he’s going to fall for our FL and won’t receive any loving back. That’s why I’m going to ship him with Chu Chu. Please writer let these two be the end game.
As for Marcus Chang (aka my husband), is so freaking HOT and can get me to do anything. Also, the fact that he has his shirt off in every episode makes me a very happier viewer. I mean it’s not easy getting those white chocolatey abs so he needs to show us the hard work he put into getting them. As for his character, I love how sweet he is to CC but is cold towards Zheng Xiao En. It’s interesting how his real personality comes through whenever he is with the FL, while his written personality is put on display whenever he is with Chu Chu. I can't wait for episode 5.

I've heard so many great things about the drama, and read a lot of good reviews so I picked it up a second time but in the end I dropped it again. Unfortunately, it just wasn't meant to be. However, I'm glad to hear that you liked it :)
ML is from A Place in the Sun playing good guy turned bad guy turned good guy. I think they picked a good ML.…
Thank you so much for telling me where the ML was from. I remember dropping A Place in the Sun by the 2nd episode. From what I saw in the first episode I like his character. He seems soft but he could bite back when pushed to a corner. I hope the ML treats the FL kindly while the FL continues on staying strong as her father-in-law and stepmother aren’t making things easier for her.
I’ve seen enough daily dramas where the FL turns weak in the end and that’s seriously not what I want to see in this one. I have noticed that most of Shim Yi Young’s characters turn out to be the damsel in distress that cries in every episode until the prince rescues her, but still continues to cry after that, then she finally gets some backbone, and then afterwards lives happily ever after. I hope the same recipe isn’t used for her character in this drama.
Hahahaha at “influential.” When has most FLs in daily dramas ever been that. Majority of them are written so badly you wonder what the writer was smoking.
