Well, I'm no where near able to watch without subs. I only understand the phrases that are used in every episode. Apart from that I'm completely lost. I'ts quite funny though when I try to daydream about a drama and I try to do it in Japanese. I don't know if my fake Japanese is offensive or just pathetic, maybe both? I really want to learn though, I just don't have the time to dedicate myself to it right now.
I'm not watching Shinigami-kun yet, I just put it on my TWL for now. But you're watching it? Anything you could say about? Do you find it good so far?

Noragami was really good. I'm thinking about reading the manga, people are saying it's really good and to be honest I think the ending of the anime felt a little bit rushed and out of place.
Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is so relaxing (even though it's chaos sometimes in the plot). I love the art style, it's so refreshing, and the characters are so lovable. And I've seen and heard a lot about Haikyuu on tumblr, so I'm definitely thinking about starting to watch that too.

I think they're going to continue it for maybe one or two more episodes, and then something will happen that will change something. Maybe someone finds out or something about her father gets exposed, maybe love?
Yes, I do watch anime. I was watching a lot during the beginning of the year, but I have only finished one of them and that was Noragami. The rest got put lower on my TWL due to me starting to watch dramas. This season I'm currently watching Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou, I'm on episode two right now, have you heard of it? I started Soul Eater Not!, mainly because I wanted to see the characters from Soul Eater again. I'm not really following the series right now. I am though reading the Soul Eater manga right now. Do you watch anime? Anything this season?

I may have said "hallelujah" to what you wrote about meaning. It hit right at home for me, very, very well written of you!
And the part about sending and receiving meanings, I feel like that too. People kind of have a hard time understanding me, and I'm lousy at actually showing/sending people the meaning of the things I do. And I always had a hard time fully understanding what other people mean. Due to my low self-esteem I always think that other people only mean bad thing when they interact with me, I have a hard time seeing what people truly mean as I assume they're just acting nice to me.
And All About Lily Chou-Chou looks great.
For 9 years? Wow, that's a long time. But you know Japanese? I only understand the basics greeting, you know the things they say in every single episode. I want to learn more, but I don't have the time to commit fully to it, but maybe one day.

I think a lot of people had high expectations on Alice no Toge, me included. I'm really hoping that it's just a drama that doesn't start off that great, but grows during time. I saw someone write that Japanese dramas hits their peak when at episode four, and I think I may agree with that. We will just have to cross or fingers :) And I'm glad I'm not the only one talking about Yowakutemo Katemasu having a anime feeling.
And yes, gives as many recommendations as you want! You can never have too many dramas on your TWL, at least I don't think so. It sounds interesting and different from anything I've watched so far. I haven't seen anyone in the cast in another drama before (I think) so that's interesting too.
And yes, it is okay, thank you for asking. I'm sort of weird when it comes to giving out that information, but I'm from Sweden and you can call me Anna.

First, good luck!
No, it's not strange, I understand you perfectly, I actually kind of do the same thing. I do not believe in fate, and when it comes to things having a meaning I do not think of meaning in the terms of fate. I believe actions has meaning, thoughts and televisions shows, movies and so on. It's really boring, I know. But I also over think about what's the meaning of things and over-analyzing is something I always do. And I can think of the meaning, or more what someone else thought my meaning with doing something was, for years.
You've watched Koukou Kyoushi? I'm going to be honest, when episode two ended, I was in complete chock. Like, what the actually f*ck just happened? I still sort of am in chock, but I'm really liking it. I think episode four is where it starts to be really good.
Yeah. I took two courses of french, I don't even know who to say goodbye.

Hello and thank you for accepting.
Alice no toahge is different from how I thought it would be. Maybe because it's my first revenge drama (I think). I like it so far. I feel like it's going to need to evolve into something more than what it is now, like the pattern that is being followed in the episodes and so on. But I think/hope that it's going to grow. When it comes to revenge I think it's the middle or end part that really shows the series potential, whilst the beginning can feel very, hmm.., extreme?
And I really like Yawakutemo katemasu. Okay, I've only watched the first episode, but I liked it. I feel like it's "easy to watch" and I get an anime vibe from it. It has potential to become an easy breezy heart warming drama. You're also watching them right now, right? What do you think so far?
Yes, mother looks really great. I had it recommended to me and it's high on my TWL.

I understand what you're saying about looking at people from the outside. Personally I love trying to understand people. I feel like it makes me able to see things and problems in all the possible ways I can; almost like writing an essay and your teacher tells you to come to a conclusion of a problem by looking at it from different perspectives. I don't think I understand everyone, not even myself, but I like to think that I'm at least trying to. God, it feels like I'm rambling about something so off topic.
And thank you so, so, much! And dude, don't feel bad about recommending depressing dramas (as long as you're not in a depressing mood, in that case, want a hug?), I love drama-torturing myself. And I have to say, Hikari to Tomo ni feels like something I'm really going to like. But all of them seems great, man, thank you!
And sorry for my English, it feels all over the place.

I'm actually enjoying Yowakutemo Katemasu so far, okay, I've only watched one episode but I gave me a good feeling. For me, I got a anime feeling from it, I don't know why, but I like it. But I also agree with you, I will need something more to fully enjoy it. And maybe this is just wishful thinking, but I think it will give something more, what I don't know yet.
Alice no Toge... I'm having a hard time deciding what I think of it so far. I will continue watching, but if the story doesn't become more than what it is now (breaks away from it's pattern) I will be disappointed. But then again, I'm only two episodes in so who knows what will happen?
And I've seen just the title "BORDER" around lately, but never looked into it, until know. I sounds really good, it's different from what I usually watch which makes me so glad, I want to break away from my genre pattern. So thank you!

I agree with you about Alice no toge. I'm actually having a hard time understanding what I think about the drama. I don't hate it, I find it interesting, but it's something missing but I don't know what. But I will continue watching, I think that it might just have a slow start but the middle or the end of it will be better, when things become more complicated (than it already it). I think that's how it is with revenge themed dramas, movies or series in general.
Koukou Kyoushi 2003... man, it's 100% not what I expected, in the best way possible! I was a little bit lazy when reading what it was about, but it still caught my interest because it was an old Japanese drama and also a interesting story. I had a little bit of a hard time getting into it, but I'm at episode four now and I really think the "good stuff" is starting to happen. This will be finished before this week ends!

First of all, thank you so much!
And I have already thought about watching I hear your voice. I've read many good things about it, I've just not been in the mood to start watching it, but it's definitely high on my list.
A innocent man looked really good too. I have it on my to watch list for now and as soon as I feel for a revenge drama, I will go for it.
Again, thank you for your suggestions, I'm really looking forward to watching them when I have the time.

I think I've watched three or four dramas with Ueno Juri, but I'm already in love! I'm extremely impressed with her diversity. So the reason I decide to pick up Alice no Toge was becasue of her (and because it looked good of course) And Yowakutemo Katemasu is giving me anime vibes for some reason, and I really enjoyed it. It was relaxing and fun to watch, you didn't need to think too hard. Well, let's hope both continue to be enjoyably.

I do love my J-dramas, but it most certainly doesn't have to be! The story and quality of acting, cinematography and so on matters more to me. So I'm open to whatever. Thank you so much by the way, you're really putting in a lot of effort for little me!

Personally I don't think South Korean culture is that, hmm how to put this, different? Yes, it's different from my own culture but I don't think it was such a huge cultural chock as when I started watching anime and such things. Maybe because it wasn't that different from Japanese culture? I mean I can only speak from what the dramas show, especially when it comes to K-dramas.
And as you say, Japan feels more familiar because I'm more used to it; and it will always have a special meaning to me because it's "how it all started". And I just find it so extremely interesting with the completely different views on things between cultures. Some things I have a hard time agreeing with and some making me question things, as the view on marriage for example.

I will check them out! I've been seeing people saying that they are watching God's Gift recently.
Ah, school. The only problem with it is that even when I don't have any distractions I create new ones. I'm feeling that graduation really is the dream right now. Soon, soon!
I pretty much watch anything, even though my list may not show that. I've watched a lot of romance, which is always nice, but I feel like something else would be nice. I mean, romance is always a part of almost any drama. But i really don't have any preferences, maybe not too much melodrama?

Ah, thank you! I could say the same to you (and I may have laughed a little bit too much at the Gokusen joke in your profile)
