I just have to say, my brain can't compute how handsome and attractive Zhang LingHe is in this drama... Guys, have you seen him smile? How intimidating is the menacing side eyes look? Incredible. I don't understand... very good job for camera work and artistic direction for making him look unreal. Honestly, they all looks amazing and ethereal, if this was fantasy I would 100% believe they're all immortals XD
I actually like the direction Pursuit of Jade is taking because it stays true to the female lead’s character.…
I think in some previous episode the couple were talking about discovering the truth behind what happened to her parents, she said she wanted to and he was explaining to her that it probably involved very high up people and that simple people like them wouldn't be able to learn or do anything about it. Her gaining military achievement, is a way of getting into the thick of what happened to her parents. In that sense i don't think it's against her character, because she does want the truth and justice.
Disapointed with the end. I did like the three bro bickering.... but the pianpian arc made me angry. So useless.…
Same! It felt like she was going in the past at a specific time for a purpose, but we got just nothing.. When it ended and we got the little text my only reaction was Bruh....
I was watching those last minutes at the edge of my seat, it felt like it would be good, but then we get sad kitty still looking for his half and FL deciding life is better stuck in the past. She found a new spell? What does it do? Time travel is dangerous but she keeps doing it. To me it seems like they established the past can't be changed, she's just reliving what already happened.. So what now? Maybe stay in the present and get stronger and find something to get your husband back and deal with the spring...
Literally the ending made me feel deflated, it could have been happy, it felt like it could be but then.. nothing... Disappointed.. But as an avid fan of cdrama and xanxia, i'm used to it and will get over it lol
Oof, it was a bad idea to start watching this right after "The long ballad". The difference in quality is soooo big it makes this unwatchable for me. I just can't care about the characters since they have this transcendent love for each other after just a couple days/weeks. We don't even know that much about them, they don't have much personality. The second couple's story is much more intriguing and interesting. The main couple is just bland, it's like after the first couple episodes you already know all there is to know, so I just felt like moving on. Fast forwarded myself to episode 11 and now dropping.
I've seen lots of people calling the guy in Love of 1000 years creepy and stalker and stuff, but I see nobody say anything when the dragon king sleeps in her bed every night when she doesn't know, kiss her, appear in her room and everywhere she is all the time, spends every minute of his life stalking her. I assume it's just 'cause he's cute right.. ugh.
I don't understand why its considered time travel when she kinda just lost her memories imo lol and whenever I…
I think there's some kind of ban/censorship on time travel stuff in chinese drama, so most of the time in those stories they disguise it as something else. Like remembering a past life, or telling a story of ancient times or being in an accident and being in a coma and "dreaming" of a past life.. stuff like that.
