It was hypothetical. You can say everyone had a part to play in the outcome, some more than others, creating the butterfly effect. I'm wondering if some of her hate is stemming from jealousy of CQ, because she knows YX likes CQ, so if she didn't exist, XY would not have abandoned her. In her mind it probably all makes sense.

lolol "Sorry I ruined your life. I had to, but at least I feel bad about it." Hahaha. Sorry I'm not picking on you or anything, but me imagining Chu Qiao saying that had me laughing.
Hey guys! I'm pretty new to cdramas as this is my first drama that I've seen since growing up(mom used…
Are you looking for male or female centric shows? The latest cdrama wuxia that I can think of that has this theme is The Legend of the Condor Heroes (2017) which is of course a remake, but the mc is a simple minded, good hearted guy who everyone dismisses as insignificant. He gradually gets more powerful through luck and perseverance plus some inner powers that are passed on to him. He eventually becomes very powerful and is a leader of the people.
I had to drop it. The female victim mentality was too annoying. does it get any better??
I find Xing'er/Chu Qiao to be furthest from the victim mentality. You mess with her or her people and bad things will happen to you. She might fail to kill them sometimes (rat poison) but that doesn't mean she still won't try lol. The first few eps she was injured and confused and was still getting her bearings.
I think this is the 3rd time I've watched a remake of this story? 5th? 10th? 100th?! I don't even know…
I have it on hold and only watch a few eps when I have absolutely nothing else to watch. I don't know whether it's because it fails to keep my interest or it's because I've already been down this road before, but it's good enough that I don't write the series off altogether.
I kinda see it. Yan Xun is very in your face with his interest towards her, but with Yuwen Yue it's more subtle. He's uncomfortable when she's too close and can't keep eye contact. He squirrels away her handkerchief lol! And keeps it even though he knows it's super important to her. Don't know if he'll return it or not in future eps. He's also lowkey alarmed when he thinks he's hurt her (by only grabbing her??).
Thanks for the comments everyone. Wow, didn't even realize there was a time travel element originally, or…
Oddly enough, I like Yue more (and I seem to be in the minority). Although he's super strict and rigid, I think it's cute when he fusses over her, and I'm interested in how she gets someone like him to bend.
I've only been recently introduced to Luhan and he gives me very mixed emotions. I never know whether I want o squeeze him 'cause he's cute as a baby bunny, or paint him like a french girl 'cause he's so pretty.
And is the ice cube melting? Quick, someone grab a bowl to catch him!
Watch my masochistic self start this.
