Haaha I honestly laugh when he was using the military analogies to understand the complex feelings and emotions.

True - he has show his empathy throughout the series - its just that his ability to perceive, control and evaluate BFX emotions is lacking due to many reasons. He never had anyone to explain to him about love and like - he basically learn it from books (which by the way can be deceiving) so he is a rookie when its comes to dating/courting or even understanding feeling of the heart.

I right now - I want to see the face of Huang Chao when he realises that Yu Wuyun is evil

I promise myself numerous times that I won't watch an ongoing drama because the pressure of having to wait for new episodes to be release every week is just too much for my mental health. I have been looking forward to "who rules the world" and I have lost sleep over it. I agree that some part of the script wasn't crystal clear and the story is being rushed in just 40 episodes. So far I am loving the show mostly of Yang Yang and Lusi - they are both wonderful people that I enjoy watching. Just finished watched episode 26 and I liked the advise that Huang Chao father gave to him because being a tryant and a leader. I am not confident in Huang Chao ability to rule the world because he lacks kindness and tolerance. Any one opposed him will end up dead at the end. It is also sad that he is unable to see the schemes of Yu Wuyun.

FLX on the other hand is becoming more of a king in his own ways and with the capacity BFX at his side - its kinda reminds me of the chinese drama "General and I" where Bai Ping Ting was always on Chu Beijie side helping him save the people and prevent wars.

Lol I like that the show did not portray him to be perfect but its highlighted his flaws of lack of emotional intelligence...HFX EQ is very low than the average man though he is brilliant in all other aspects.

I honestly thought that by now - given all that they went through, she would have told him her identity. I know she trusts him and everything but I believe that she wants to surprise him given the fact that he always talks about Xiyun. I don't think her holding back her idenity from him is because of insecure or mistrust....what do you think?

I have not read the novel so I can't really comment much on Yu Wuyun character however, since at the beginning - I have always felt that his character was way too perfect to be true. I had the feeling that he has other intentions. I quite agree that HFX family is getting too much screen time. The father annoys me so the less I see him on my TV screen - the most at ease I would feel lol

My speculations are as follows:
- HFX Father will become wary of him and try to surpress him.
- BFX will be the one to pull him out from his darkness when the world begins to know his identity and hates on him.
- HFX will really confess his true feeling for BFX
- The princess will fall in love with HFX during the proposal event.
- Huang Chao start to suspect YWY
- A clamity happens that BFX now has to take the throne

I am just happy that BFX and HFX relationship has been taken to another level without them realising it. They are willing to sacrifice so much for a peaceful world 🌎

Thank you. Can't wait for the story to unfold. I also wish that I can read the novel to deepen my understanding of the story since everything won't be captured in 40 episodes

Same here. 40 episodes isn't either to satisfy our thirst and our confusions.....I just hope that though the entire journey HFX and BFX trust each other and not have to sacrifice too much for each other. I kinda get fed up with ML and FL having to sacrifice family, loves one just to be together

Now that some evil people knows HFX identity, the show is about to get interesting but I'll like to think that he has plan in mind to deal with that fight. I assume he must know that a day will come and people will find out. The princess wants to be a queen and rule like every other man.

She is a little slow to read into it. I guess they have known each other for so many years that BFX may mistaken his ideas as being friendly. It's kinda to switch from being friends with someone for many ways and then a confession comes...his (HFX) timing needs to be right

I think they have started to compliment each other rather. FL has always been smart but she knows her place (when to speak and when to hold back). ML and FL knows each other by heart (because thy love each other deeply)and thus learn to finish each other sentences by knowing their thoughts. I like that she keep surprising him with her knowledge and wisdom as the episodes roll out. This is a different side that the ML is seeing from the FL so I personally kinda like it 😅 . She is free spirited but can fit in quite well in palace as well....don't you think so 😌
