On Extraordinary Attorney Woo Aug 17, 2022
Ugh...I don't get how they want us to believe that Minwoo is all changed and deserving of Soo Yeon now. It's been like what?...3 episodes that he started acting like a decent human being and most of those instances were mostly to impress the girl. He may do a good thing here and there to appease the audience but from his words to Soo Yeon it is clear that his views had not changed and I have yet to see a scene where he feels an actual remorse for his actions. Anytime he is called out, he just gets defensive. I find his scenes extremely off putting and absolute waste of time, which the show could have used for much more important parts of the plot tbh. 😭

Yea, and also isn't it the first time he actually stood up and said something in court? And even then it was repeating…
Agreed...also he didn't even do it because it was a right thing to do but just to impress Soo Yeon. I bet they won't even reveal all the horrible things he did in the end and just have them date. This is honestly the first time I hated the second couple in kdrama. Usually they are either cute or I don't really care but this is just pure nonsense. 🙄

Title Why Her? Spoiler
Nahhhh I'm not ok with Chairman Cho Tae Guk's ending he's the very definition of pure evil and he gets a cheap…
My thoughts exactly. They almost made his death seem cool. It felt like he escaped his punishment. The whole time I was hoping the paramedics managed to save him and we will see him pathetic in the hospital, even more ashamed awaiting his trial but no...ugh. Also what happened to Choi Joo Wan and the other two? Shouldn't they also sand trial for what they've done? Is him crying over his evil daddy supposed to make me feel like he's got what he deserved? I think not. :-/

Title Link: Eat, Love, Kill Spoiler
I find it annoying how everyone blames him but FL literally attempted murder yet eveyone is okay with it? I get…
She didn't try to murder him though. She pushed him when he was trying to murder her, which resulted in him hitting his head on the table. Technically she "killed" him in self defense or you could argue that it was an accidental kill, none of which is considered a crime. I'm sure if someone tried to choke you to death you would try to shake the person off too and no one would blame you. I find it more puzzling that none of the three bothered checking his pulse tbh and if we want to blame someone I'd say her mom and grandma lived long enough to know she wouldn't be prosecuted if they called the police. They were also the ones to stuff the guy into the fridge sooo.. . Mistakes were definitely made but I wouldn't call her murderer. Now blaming the ML is not right either of course but most of the people blame him because they too feel partially guilty but don't want to admit it to themselves. It is always easier to find someone to blame (not right but very realistic) and to be fair the mom is mentally ill. She seems to be nice to him on all the good days. If anything, the dad should have been there to suport him.

List VOTE: Most toxic drama Spoiler
What about fl? She is also toxic person. This drama deserves to be in this list.
I agree with Kristana. FL was definitely toxic at the beginning so it's fine that the drama is on the list but precisely like she said, the whole story's purpose was to show that she was broken and bad and the goal was to fix her attitude, which they did. Also agree with the stalking and all that but the first sign that ML was in danger and she told him to go away (several times actually). Ultimately, it was always Kang Tae who chose to stay and in the end it all lead to healing of all three of them so yeah...can't see why it's in the second place. Also it's good to point out that even when she behaved horribly, she still managed o help several people along the way so she wasn't entirely self centred even then. Not always ideal way to help them but...it worked? If the FL behaved the same until the end then for sure well deserved second place (and there is many dramas on the list that would qualify for this) but that is not the case.

List VOTE: Most toxic drama Spoiler
how did i told the sunset about you make it to this list hahahahhahahahha
I actually nominated that one. I do think among the BLs it's very refreshing change but it was extremely toxic relationship. The first couple episodes were fine but then everything went to hell. Teh being in denial of his feelings was totally realistic but that didn't make the way he treated Oh okay. Kissing him and then telling him they were just friends was just cruel. He knew how Oh felt about him and the constant push and pull was really too much. Oh of course, did his part by pushing him into relationship while knowing Teh was't ready. There was absolute zero ability to communicate their feelings resulting in hurting each other over and over again. And don't get me started about the college thing. Like...what did Teh expect? Did he really think Oh would take his spot? I sure wouldn't. Also it also felt like he was telling him "you can't make it on your own so I will just give it to you". Again...they could have just talked but no. It was extremely frustrating. Lot of people tend to make excuses like "they are too young to know better" but nah...they were going to college. At that point you are old enough to know these choices are not good and even if they didn't it doesn't change that it was toxic relationship.

Review I Told Sunset about You Spoiler
I'm not a native speaker myself, so no need to say sorry lolAnd yeah... the giving up his spot in uni was one…
Exactly and he even said it to his family outright that if he didn't give up his spot his friend would never get to the Uni. Like excuse you?! Even if he didn't that would be his decision/mistake to make not yours. I actually hate these kind of "sacrifices" in general especially if the dramas/movies try to make it seem like a good thing (thankfully not this case). It is incredibly selfish to give up anything for somebody if they didn't ask for it. I would have felt so guilty if someone did this to me. Also Teh was not even trying to to hide it. Like sure, he couldn't keep it secret for too long but were the immediate insta stories really necessary so everybody and all their friends could see the "grand gesture"? For god sake please use your DMs. :-D Then again that might be just my adult point of view. I'm probably just too old for that s*** :-D

Review I Told Sunset about You Spoiler
Oh God...I'm so glad there are other people that disliked Teh. I had completely the same feelings about this one. The first 3 Episodes were great then the 4th came and I was totally thrown off. I was really trying my best to be understanding and look at everything from his point of view but even considering Teh's struggles when it came to his newly discovered sexuality, I still didn't feel like it justified a lot of his actions. The constant leading on he did to poor Oh Awe only tu push him away few minutes later and then the stunt he pulled with giving up his space at Uni?...that one I really couldn't get over with even after I finished the series. People keep saying they are teenagers but still... I don't think people that are about to go to Uni can't behave at east a little bit more rationally. It is a shame I couldn't enjoy it as much as others but I can see why people would be blown away by it. I still think this was really good and pushed some boundaries not many other series dared to, which is good. :-) (Pardon my English. Not a native speaker here :-D )
