I wouldn't really call it a Silent film, as there is dialogue among the rest of the characters, is just the two main characters that dont speak. It makes you feel the movie more, IDK. Thats just how I felt :)
I do work at the Post Office. Im 30 girl, :/ ... life goes by in a whim.

Have you seen it? Well I did not get bored at all. From the beginning, the silent of the main character hooked me in because I wanted to know when he was going to speak, and also I was so curious with what he was doing I soon forgot I wanted him to speak. Later a bunch of other stuff start unfolding.
The movie was done the right way, it hooks you in without much dialogue. Its a strong message.

Hahaha twinny, that's okay. I understand we are not going to like all the dramas we watch. However, I would truly wish you give the first episode a try. Try to forget is the Hong sisters, see if it helps to watch the first episode without any negative expectations. If you happen to like it, then there you go... something you can like of the Hong sisters. If you dont, cannot say you didn't try for the sake of... err... for the sake of Gong Yoo, if you will. :p
I was not going to give I Do, I Do a try, but I have changed my mind. I will watch the first episode see how it goes. However, I also want to watch Gentleman's Dignity, as it has been recommended by more than one person, and one of them is Bladey, another discussion buddy I have met here. Funny how we started getting to know each other... through all the pages of dramas/movies we have liked :D

Bridal Mask is really good, I have seen 2 episodes and its done right, the story seems promising. However I have watch El Zorro far too many times now Im not in a hurry to end this one. So Ill put it on hold for now to watch other things.
Big, Im loving it so far. Gong Yoo is really great in it, and the characters are really funny and so far well written. I dont know how it will turned out though, it could be terrible as it has happened with so many other potential dramas before.
Ghost, bleh... I thought it was going to be better, but the only episode that gave me pure insanity was the second one. The rest has been a bit boring at times :/
Will try Queen In Hyun's Man as well... I like the main actor :)
And no, I have not seen that one. Is it good?

Eww no season two please... I hate when they do seconds seasons of tightly written plots that once conclusion is delivered to us, there is nothing else but side stories.
Season two is good for medical dramas, family dramas, and comedies that dont have a single plot but more stories combined, like I Need Romance.
Nway that's just me... I would prefer if it didnt have one. haha.
Well, how it ended, it shows more that Jang-Il died than not, because at the very end all the characters are living their lives except for him, so he is dead. However, I would have liked it the other way I told you ;)

I have read thoughts on their love and the importance of Heming-ssi in the story, she was completely and utterly important for both Jang-il and Sun Woo. To keep a bit of humanity in them. Jang-il was himself again when meeting with her, when alone, he couldn't deal with the fact he tried to kill his best friend, so he became that loner lawyer, although he did good for other people. That only shows he wasn't really an evil person, but that fate took him to take that step. Mainly his father making the mistake he made, and he didn't want to lose everything because of it. Now that I think about it, she was more important for Jang-il than for Sun Woo, as he did leave without telling her where he was going and made it out okay without her.
As for my ending scenario of Sun Woo taking care of a disable Jang-il, I think it would have been the best ending ever. But that is just my opinion :p

Im glad you liked it. I feel the same way about it, hence the "love/hate" relationship I mentioned. LOL. The story is really bizarre and its more like a big dream, which might just be the point of the director (he also wrote it I think). However, the directing is good, acting good, music good... I did a sketch inspired on it. It was too much to keep inside hahaha :)

I would have preferred this ending scenario: Heming-ssi back at the blind place helping the blind, as it was the place where she met him and their real love started. Soo Mi dirt poor, without anything to show for. Definitely NOT as a teacher, she is to devious to teach anything to kids. That was a bad wrap-up of character conclusion.
His father right where he ended, that was awesome. I agree.
Now, Jang-Il's death wasnt clear to me, or maybe Im confused. Sun Woo said to Heming-ssi (after Jang-Il jumped off) "Is Jang-Il Okay?" what was that about? On that note... Sun Woo taking care of Jang-Il since he jumped off and might have become disable in any way.
I mean Sun Woo wasn't always a victim. It sounds bad of me to say, because his father died by Jang-il's father's hand, but... he was cruel towards the end. He was more of an antihero than a hero to me.

I liked when Jang-Il tried killing Sun Woo. That was one of the best scenes I have seen in thriller dramas. WOW. So much passion contained in one scene.
The other favorite was when he Jumped off. Right before, when they are both talking about the past. That was also good.
I didnt care for his love of Heming-ssi.

But Yeon Jae's body was dead, he was dead when they took him out of the water and put him on the morgue. He (the body) woke up when Kyung Yoon's soul went into it. Think of 49 Days (have you seen that drama?) if not, then think of this. When movies/dramas have an afterlife experience on their plot, it always plays like this: the body is in a coma, while the soul is out of the body but not in heaven. So, based on that, Kyung Yoon's body is in a coma, while his soul is in another body. Where is Yeon Jae's soul? It cannot be on Kyung Yoon's body because the body is in a coma. Unless this drama has it differently, but every other story that has this plays it like that. If the soul is not yet in heaven is either in the body or out of it hovering around like a bee... if the body is in a coma, then the soul is not in the body.
But with Korean dramas anything is possible.
