Sad in the drama hopeful in the book. I prefer the book version it makes more sense considering Feng Zhiwei characterization ^^ dont know why they needed to make it extradramatic with the drama. I just happily watch it while ignoring the ending.

They bite off more than they can chew. I think in lieu of focusing on the essential: telling a beautiful tale of love of two complex persons, they wanted to do and be everything at the same time and lost focus of what matters the most in any story: the storytelling ^^
How is the airing schedule .. is it 2 episodes everyday or1 ?
Its not MDL fault its just that in the first week they usually air straight for 7- 10 days and then go back to a classic airing schedule the week after ^^
