I think saying he has poor acting is quite harsh. I’ve seen bad acting in cdramaland and he is not in this category. He is not bad just not transcending, he lacks subtility. He has been typecast in the same kind of role over and over and over for at least 5 years that didnt help improve his acting range thats for sure. And he had been dubbed in almost all of his work, meaning the dubbing actor was doing the heavy work, which didnt help him improving his acting either. What worked for him being a successful actor is that he has been picked for pretty good projects with good actress counterpart. Basically luck. Luck can just bring you so far, I really hope he will work on improving his acting range in the future.
