I know what happens in the so which episode should I stop on to get a kind of happy ending? Episode 14 or 15 or half way into Episode 16?

I read it’s a good drama except for the ending so want to give it a try.

I'm so mad right now. Episode 5 and I'm pissed the main lead is not Yan ruo. The main lead is just too unattractive…
it seems in the earlier episodes they wanted to try for a young look but later in the drama she's absolutely beautiful. Also, the main lead grows on you, except for his laugh, and you come to see that Yan Ruo was not the right one after all.

I've lost count of how many times I've watched this drama. When I want a drama with a sensible female lead who takes revenge without forgiveness, and so cunning with it too, I watch this. The first few times I watched each every episode but now I skip that part that don't interest me usually with the concubine and the father when they are dealing with someone else other than the main lead.

The story of Yanxi Palace is also on my too many times to count watch list.

I wish there were more dramas like this with smart and strong leading ladies who never gives in and and willing to go all the way with their revenge. I would want to watch those with leading men of who do the same as well but haven't come across that many, if any.

Any suggestions? The main leads should go to the very end for their rightful revenge without any forgiveness of the perpetrators. In other words, they get what the deserve.

stop bullying me for fucks sake you fucking troll i'm not hating on anyone in this drama but you're definitely…
I hear you and I understand what you are saying. My advice is to stop responding to this person, it will lesson your stress. They commented under my post and I have nothing to say to them. You stated your opinion and some will read and understand and others have a lot of time on their hands to troll you. Don't give them that satisfaction. You've made great points and explained yourself clearly. End it here and keep your sanity. :-)

Title Snowdrop
Let me put in my two cents.

So based on research
Jisoo's character is named after this lady: " Chun Young Cho a well-known student protestor who survived questioning and torture at the infamous Namyeong-dong National Police Agency, which was known to house the "most perfectly concealed torture chamber" of the time, but her husband, Jung Moon Hwa, was also captured and framed as a "spy and conspirator of the government" during the democracy movement. After his imprisonment, Jung Moon Hwa died at a young age due to malnutrition".

Jae In character is based on this guy "According to a synopsis released by broadcasting station JTBC, Snowdrop is based on the real life memoirs of a man who escaped from a North Korean political prison camp. In 1987, amid tear gas explosions, the man, like the character Im, escapes to a female college dormitory while injured and is treated by a female student. The man turns out to be an armed spy, and is later forced to choose between his mission and the woman who saved him, who he also comes to fall in love with."

So the drama "Snowdrop" will be using the real name of a revered protest leader to fall in love and hide an enemy, that her husband was tortured in real life as being, as well as many many other people who were also tortured and died. I know that a Nazi and a Jew can fall in love and that would make a wonderful love story. But when you take on the name of someone known to have fought for something and turn her story into a love story between the very enemy she was fighting against, including love interests from the people who captured and tortured her husband in real life, that just doesn't cut it. PLUS the woman is still alive. If you want to make a drama using her name, tell her true story. If not use fictional names.

Care to enlighten us why they are suddenly attacking Mr. Queen and dragging its actors into this issue? Was it…
I'm guessing it's the same treatment that was given to Empress Ki. Yes it's hypocritical that's a fact, but no Asian country wants to see their heroes portrayed wrong in the face of their "enemies". On the other hand, sure you can turn a historically evil figure into a good one, cause we know historically he was evil. It is being two-faced, that's true but I guess it is easier to stomach an evil king being portrayed as good or omitting parts entirely rather than having a well known figure portrayed as going against the very things he fought for.

At first when hearing about the controversies over the Chinese food, I too thought that it was an over-reaction. However, after reading several blogs, it's not just the food but terrible inaccuracies about Korean Heroes. We know that that Lee Bang Won did terrible things to get and keep the throne but he did so much for the local people which was continued with his son Sejong the Great.

Now here comes this "fictional" drama using such a revered historical figure to kill so many innocent people, the very same people he was working to help. If it were a dream and he woke up realizing it was just a dream, then perhaps a pass. But the drama shows that he actually killed these people.

It's like someone making a movie showing a fictional Martin Luther King encouraging violence and or turning against the very Blacks he was marching to protect or Ghandi being turned into a person who enjoyed wealth and was a violent man. For us outsiders, it may seem as just fiction but for these cultures where these people are considered heroes, to turn them into these kind of characters, and it's not even a comedy, that is being disrespectful.

I'm guessing the Koreans feel the same way about their respected historical figures.

One of the few dramas, that when someone finds out a person they trusted killed their loved one there's not the…
That’s why I revisit this drama so often. The bad GUI get punished with no mercy or forgiveness.

That’s why I like the story of Ming lan the Yanxi palace. The leading ladies they get their revenge with no mercy or forgiveness. One is very cunning with it and the other is outright bold but they take no shit and give even worse than they get.

I wrote this elsewhere so I’ll just copy it here.

For those wondering why Friday night episode is delayed I have a theory. This drama loses ratings on a Friday night because it is shown at the same time as Three meals a day. Latest episodes of TM with Gong Hyo Jin were 9.8, 12.1, 11 and all on cable TVN. On Saturday there is no competition so the ratings go up. This Friday, Lee Kwan Soo is guesting in Three Meals which could mean even lower viewership ratings for TKEM. So instead of facing that embarrassment of probably dropping even lower than 5%, this is their way out. The guests on TM lasts for about 2 episodes so probably they will watch to see how Lee Kwan Soo’s episode does then resume Friday night viewing next week.
