Junichi was tense throughout all 9 episodes; his way of sitting and carrying himself will stick in my mind. I’m glad I watched the series, when it first started, there were almost no comments, and now more people are watching it. Every character has their flaws, but that’s kind of what being human is like.
Ep1 thoughts… Being with emotionally distant people like Kim Eun-Joo is really exhausting. I honestly feel sorry for Eun-Hee. The fact that she had a miscarriage doesn’t change anything, your sister comes to you because she’s in a bad place and needs help, and you just scold her and send her away. “Don’t cry, people will look.” Why does that matter? Let the girl cry. Also, what Chan-Hyeok did is a huge betrayal. You shouldn’t be part of something like that. You never said anything for three years, and you even went and had dinner with them several times? And you call yourself a friend, what an idiot. Even so, Eun-Hee ended up showing maturity by going to them and apologizing. I’m also curious about the story of that gay husband. And the guy working at the café is really cute.
Before the ML uses his perfect reflexes in fight scenes, they add that alarm-like sound in the background and it makes me laugh. I love those scenes. The FL’s older sister is a total backstabber; I’m waiting for karma.
Thoughts on the first episode: I like watching Namkoong Min’s dramas. I’ve seen him in about five or six dramas, I guess. This man is so talented. But there is a big age gap between the female lead and the male lead. He was 38 in this drama and she was 23. That’s too much. When a female actress is about to turn 40, she starts getting mother roles. It’s unfair, by the way. However, I don’t understand what kind of family does that to their loved ones. I understand her sister’s situation; it’s awful. But if you can’t stand up for your sister, what kind of person are you? The male lead is a red flag. I’m sure he’s about to be a whole red forest. It’s an old drama, but it’s fun to watch right now.
