Nanno's Justice

I finished it. I honestly skipped through the last three episodes because I didn’t enjoy them much. I have a lot of questions about Nanno, but I’m not sure whether they’ll be answered in season 2.

1. Nanno most likely doesn’t feel physical pain and can use her body in any way for the sake of revenge. We can understand this from the scenes with the teacher in the first episode, or when she throws herself from the top of a building, or even when she is buried alive. Even if she does feel physical pain, as a beyond human being she can tolerate and endure it.
2. She manipulates the human mind and uses people in line with her own interests.
3. She actually does feel human emotions, which we can understand from the episode with TK. Normally, after taking revenge on her victims, she lets out a big laugh and looks at them in a demonic way. But when she left TK, her eyes were teary and she looked unhappy. Her emotions didn’t distract her from her purpose in any way, though.
4. She doesn’t need to eat, sleep, or rest like humans do. After committing theft with TK, even though they were running fast, Nanno was breathing perfectly fine, while TK was completely out of breath at that moment.

So my main question is this: why did she target high school students in order to take revenge and punish people? Even though they did many unethical and illegal things, why did she do this to underage kids? Don’t get me wrong, generally believe that Nanno gives people what they deserve, but I couldn’t understand why her target group is high school students.

What is Nanno’s true nature? She is most likely a demonic being, but how was she born? Was she human and then turned into such a being, or was she like this from the very beginning? These are the things I’m curious about. And while watching, there were moments where I felt that she made mistakes. I don’t remember which episode it was, but once she took revenge on someone who claimed to be rich but was actually poor. His main “crime” was lying at first, and then taking money from his parents’ wallet. Compared to other criminals, I thought he was a bit more decent, and honestly, I felt sorry for him.

Anyway, apparently a character named Yuri appears in season 2. I want to see her too, but I won’t start season 2 right away.

7.5/10
