i felt that way too!! the main reason, for me at leat, that Signal really left a soft spot in my heart, is because of the 'unique' idea of the walkie-talkies. For me, that's what made the drama.
If they have a 2nd, then there would be no walkie-talkies, because we know Jae Han is alive, so there would be no reason to go back into the past etc. And also, lets face it, second seasons in kdrama haven't always lived up to the first, i mean there are the exception like the reply series, but generally speaking, they not THAT amazing...
So yeh, i personally hope that they don't make a 2nd, in fear that why may 'defame' the first, but thats jus try opinion. If they do however, i really hope they make it as good, if not better than the first.
a little sad that they didn't save Sun Woo in the end, was really wanting him to live, but in an odd way i actually think that its 'good' they didn't, bc its means that the writer didn't give into what the audience wanted her to do.
THAT ENDING THO!!! have no idea why, but i was kinda moved to tears by that ending! But then again, this whole drama has moved me to tears... i have so much more to say, but i just dunno how to.... I NEED MORE OF THIS DRAMA, PLS SEASON 2
this was honestly one of the best dramas I've ever watched! the storyline, the acting, THE SETS, everything was just superb!! I'm actually still in denial that its over...
this has set the bar exceptionally high! it'll be very hard for anything to top this, in my opinion..
the ending was one that'll stay on my mind for a while, because its really hard to end an amazing drama, with THAT type of ending, without leaving an impression on all the viewers!

the drama actually starts off really well, i remember i used to be pumped for the new episodes each week. but towards the end i personally lost interest, bc i felt like they were focusing too much on the *spoilers* love triangle, than the actual plot itself. so if ur into all the romantic stuff, then you should watch it, but if not, still try it out, u may actually like it :)
altho the acting could be improved, by like a lot (if u can't stand bad acting, don't watch)
can we discuss the secret garden kiss?!? its was brilliant! they did it so well with comedy!
Oh my lord, that couple actually kills me!!! I love them to bits!, and I totally saw that kiss coming, the moment they brought out the Vienna Coffee, I was like "rite, secret garden kiss, here we come"
