One of the best series I ever watched in this lifetime
I want to give an outstanding review to the actors, the directors and most importantly the Writers ✍️. I loved this series from start to finish what made this so amazing is that the writers kept the attention of the audience throughout the whole storyline, it was never a boring moment, even when a main character you got to know died, this series still captures your attention, This was the 1st introduction to me craving to watch more, and more historical Chinese dramas, I am from a different country and I fell in love with Chinese historical drama 🎭 just by watching this full series.. unfortunately as much as I craved the same high I received from this show, no other show can top this one from start to finish, they neither have a weak start or a very poor ending after engaging all your time in watching it, most of them left me very upset because the ending was very pitiful, after so much sadness the world would like to believe in happy satisfaction endings to a great story and many writers need to learn from this show and give us a great ending like this one.. I love the FL she held her own strength, she was clever, quick wit and highly intelligent.. some shows have the FL overly stupid, too playful to the point of being annoying, or childish talking like a retard and needing someone else to always save them, but this drama she carry her own weight, I love most of the shows she is in because she is quick wit and highly intelligent.I give a standing ovation 👏🏾 and round applause 👏🏾 to the actors, directors, dressers, and a double applause to the writers ✍️ you guys set the tone on what a Chinese drama series should be like… every choice was well thought out and imperfect but perfectly balanced. 😍🥰🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞

The show hard to watch.. the lead character showed no sign of character growth, too passive to man she let beat her, she treated the one who loved her like crap and kept falling for a man who could never really protect her, lied continuously, beat her and wanted to change most of everything about her. It’s almost as if this show was saying it’s ok to get beat that is love.. he was pure evil. She lead the man who loved her to lion den.. she did not seem to have good judge of character.. the writers should have had a better story line than a woman getting beat from her father to her husband. They loss the title of the story and she still there trying to protect a man full of jealousy, greed, narcissistic , lier behavior. I love the cooking Theme
As always my favorite Character was the FL and I did enjoyed the ML also, I think overall the show was amazing, looking at the cooking skills China 🇨🇳 bring to the table makes me wonder if I am missing out on the experience of the world greatest cooking nation, They do not just cook for taste but mostly importantly showing how food can also be used for health in many different ways. The show really brought some amazing food skills to life, comfort foods, healing foods, art food, literature foods, food themes, timeless food, food display with colors and energy positioning of food, many aspects of food that we do not think about as much. I really did enjoyed the meaning, also the writers ✍️ done a very well job on balancing out the schemes, food, and storyline intended. The culture of china’s food is simply amazing and the actors, directors, and writers brought it to life to celebrate the different traditions and styles of Chinese cuisine. A show worth watching especially if you like the different complexities of food, schemes, and cultures 😇Was this review helpful to you?

I always like watching her character since The Story Of Yanxi Palace. She knows how to bring intelligence to a screen! Her strength in this show is amazing I also like the ML too! They both brought a sexy appeal to the show without over doing . Although I was very saddened about the beginning but it set the stage for the genus FL to bring her powerful personality acting skills to the table to show them who to pick on. The ML was amazing they both brought flair and charm to the table.. i love a good Chinese drama when the FL will win with her wit, intelligence and wisdom to run the show and take power lolWas this review helpful to you?
The female Lead is annoying
Writers ✍️ please stop with making the young woman voice and talking points childish, and a retard.. the female lead comes off as mentally challenged she talk like a 2yr old, the other actor who asked the ex-general to teach her marshal arts barely can talk with her head up, sounding so stupid to ask for something but not bold enough, or brave enough to ask for that clearly how in the hell she suppose to fight enemies lol 😂. I love the male lead, but so far his co female lead is retarded, it seems like she is in elementary at 17years old, unappealing, she is a pretty face but her parts overshadow her beauty , her voice is annoying she is hard to watch, I prefer the clever smart women who can stand on their own and help protect the male, and can beat the other characters with wit, the base of the story has so many great potentials but your writing for the females are horrible and I can tell were this is going just on episode 5 i might skip through it not sure if i can see it through because the female comes of as a retard with annoying voice who needs to be baby, and do not know how to stand up for herself, she just going to let her dad believe she was violated by the male lead, no self esteem, she do not know how to respect the order of love and respect, someone tell her something nice she smiling 😊 about that, she seems to allow her self to get pulled in any direction someone set for her, so unappealing.
