No one is gonna say it but Xiao Yao's character development in the remake is not good. He was real good in the first 10 episodes but now he's just boring. Tang Yu and Anu both got the best character development along with Jin Yuan.
I have watched up to episode 16 and not sure should I continue or not. This is the first time for a xianxia that…
boy are they dragging some scenes in the remake. The marriage battle arc between Xiao Yao and Yue Ru took forever and the zombie arc as well sure took its time. I skipped through so many scenes but right now, the current arc with Jin Yuan bitten by a spider is about to get interesting. I agree though that Jin Yuan is the best character right now without questions.
I like both versions of him. He's the best character so far in the remake along with Anu. Linger has been given…
Xiao Yao calls him Brother Seven in the original version. He is one of the best characters because he provides emotional knowledge and support to everyone. In the remake, he is basically the brain of the team. Very refreshing to watch.
I just read about the 2005 version. I hope it doesn't end like that... 😨😨😨
not a chance. Lol even in Chinese Paladin 7 the game that released a couple of years ago ended tragically. I believe CP3 was the only one with a good ending.
They added a lot of differences into the remake. It seems like the scriptwriter of this version has rewritten the story to be more suitable for the younger audience. The original version of Chinese Paladin made a bigger emotional impact, but this remake is aiming to please younger audience who may have not seen the original.
I can’t recall whether I like LJY from the 2005 adaptation but in this one I really enjoy his character- wise,…
I like both versions of him. He's the best character so far in the remake along with Anu. Linger has been given more character development though in comparison to the original.
Im at episode 4 and cannot stant he male lead to be honest and how rude he is ling yue and even tells her "who…
in the original version, he does become better to her and will eventually in the remake as well but so far, he's more rude to Yue Ru in the remake. In the original version, he joked around with her a lot as it was part of his personality and he uses humor to mask his sadness sometimes. The remake is not doing a very good job in portraying his comedy persona. I skipped so many scenes because it was unbearable.
you don't necessarily have to but I do recommend watching Chinese Paladin 1. Like the person mentioned beneath, the CGI and computer work are bad by today's standard but you'll probably be accustomed to it if you've watched 2000s chinese dramas.
