Title The Glory Part 2 Spoiler
1. I loved how Dong Eun didn’t let go of her plan, didn’t give up. I was really scared she would, and truly…
When Jae Joon went to visit Yeo Jung to ask him if you could see what was in a dead person's uterus if their body was frozen. Yeo Jung called Dong Eun right after to tell her that Myeong Oh wasn't the one who needed to pay but Jae Joon was. After that, Dong Eun remembered the time Myeong Oh forcefully kissed her and remembered seeing Jae Joon play basketball while Myeong Oh was abusing her and she said something like 'oh so he did other things than play basketball". From that, I understood that after finding out So Hee had been pregnant, Dong Eun assumed it was Myeong Oh's (because he had SA her when she was young, so she thought he probably did it to So Hee too), and when Jae Joon went to see Yeo Jung, Yeo Jung probably understood it was Jae Joon's doing, and not Myeong Oh's. If you understood differently, please feel free to tell me what you got from that !

Exactly! Why would they keep mentionning her body was frozen if they weren't going to use it in the scenario in the end ? Felt almost like they were so carried away by ML's vengence, they kinda completely forgot about it... it's frustrating! After 15 episodes, we needed to see the revelations blow out like you said !

Title The Glory Part 2 Spoiler
The Glory Part 2 was exciting and disappointing at the same time. My mum and I binged watched the part 2 in one…
1. I loved how Dong Eun didn’t let go of her plan, didn’t give up. I was really scared she would, and truly wanted to see her avenge. I loved how we slowly saw Yeon Jin loose face, loose every single person around her as she saw them betray her one after the other, it was delightful to see. Same for all the others. To be honest, Dong Eun was amazingly smart, she never got her hands dirty and used them as pawns so they could destroy each other as she watched. And I truly think it was a great vengence !
2. Joo Yeo Jung. I could not bring myself to care about him or his own revenge. I don’t know why but whenever they acted like a couple, I just rolled my eyes, whenever we were thrown into his own revenge plan against his father’s killer, I couldn’t quite care. I didn’t quite like the character either and apart from helping her with Myeong Oh’s body and Yeon Jin’s scab, in the end, he didn’t really do much ? I don’t know if I actually missed something but for me he didn’t do much, of course he helped her get Yeon Jin caught but I’m almost certain she could have done it without him. Hyun Nam was actually of a much bigger help than he was, in my opinion.
3. Yoon So Hee being quite literally brushed under the carpet in the last episodes. It makes me so angry actually. It makes me think the ending was rushed. They really brought up and talked about So Hee in every episode. Dong Eun vocalised her will to avenge So Hee as well. The fact her body was concerved since her death was made a huge deal. I feel like she was just as big of a part of the story as was Dong Eun in this season. And yet ? We don’t see or hear about any autopsy being performed on her body, which was the whole reason Yeo Jung’s father and (later) mother kept her body, for the truth to come out. What about her foetus, which was quite clearly from Jae Joon’s r*ping her. It’s disgusting and yet I feel like suddenly we stopped hearing about So Hee or her mother. We didn’t see Yeon Jin pays for killing So Hee either. And then Dong Eun goes to her grave but ? What happened before ? I would have wanted to see people realising all the lies Yeon Shin had told, because killing Myeong Oh really wasn’t the most cruel thing she had done. I wanted people to hear the truth, and her murder and torture finally be avenged and told to the world. I feel like the last episode suddenly was Yeo Jung.
4. People showing up at the right moment for no reason. How did Yeo Jung’s mother knew Dong Eun was on the roof at that exact moment? How did she show up just when Dong Eun was about to jump ? Makes no sense to me. Same for Jae Joon’s murder ? How did the killer (Do Young I guess?) find him ? How did Jae Joon get on the roof in his state ? What happened between the car crash and the roof scene ? I don’t know, I might be stupid and have missed loads of details, that wouldn’t be surprising but yeah, just confused here.
5. The finale didn’t make sense to me. It honestly felt like the introduction to a 3rd part, if that’s the case it makes a bit more sense, if it’s not, then wtf. It was just about Yeo Jung and his plan. Why ? I don’t get it, there would have been such better ways to end the 2nd part and yet that put the focus on Yeo Jung… I was really disappointed in the finale. There was so much things that weren’t shown or said. Especially So Hee and her mother as well as Hyun Nam and her daughter (would have loved to hear about Sun Ah). It felt rushed.

The Glory Part 2 was exciting and disappointing at the same time. My mum and I binged watched the part 2 in one evening and came out with the same conclusions this morning. To be clear, I enjoyed it for the most part : Dong Eun’s revenge was delightful. The rest, meh. Maybe it's just me because people seem to have loved everything about it, but there was a few things that annoyed me here... (Ps : it’s going to be too long, sorry.) /TW for SA and bullying, obviously...\

Title Silent Spoiler
I'd start by saying it was frustrating. Most of the characters are sad or gloomy throughout every episodes. You can quite literaly see how every character (except maybe Nana who ended up being my favourite character) keep things unsaid all over the drama. I do think some scenes were made just to make the viewers sad, but it's okay I guess.
Just like with any over dramas that depict main characters with disabilities, I can not judge whether or not the respresentation was well done as I am not hard of hearing, I don't speak Japanese Sign Language and have not lost my hearing, so I can't say if the representations that are made through Sakura were done well.
I'll focus on Tsumugi's love for Sakura. Personally I liked it. I wonder though why she didn't seem to realise (or admitted to herself) that she has clearly never truly stropped loving him. Tsumugi is clearly still very much in love with him, even before reuniting and I'm glad Minato broke up with her early on because he knew better than she did apparently. The issue with Minato though is that I felt he was only there as a way to reconnect the main characters, I felt like, sadly, that was the main role given to the character.
I liked Moe and Nana a lot though.
In sum, I liked that drama, but it's not perfect (and I wish we'd have seen more of Nana and Haruo).

(Spoilering just in case it spoils the show for anyone) True, however we have gotten bits and pieces of the world…
Sadly I decided to give it up because I really couldn't get passed the issues i noted in my first comment.
I guess it's also mainly my idea of what people would do during those times (abusing women and such is sadly overly present without any world end...). It is probably also my expectations that made me disappointed in the drama... I also can't go passed the way I despise Ritsu, he represents everything I hate in a main character 😕
Thank you for responding, I always like exchanging about dramas, with the same or different opinions, it's always fun 😊

I do think Koyama still liked Hira, it's not surprising, they're still in the same club, so Koyama must have struggled... For the job offer, I'm not sure yet, it's kinda hard to be sure when it all happened in one episode, if that's the case, I doubt Hiromi would have hired someone just for Koyama, everything he said to Hira on the interview was probably what he thought of him. I think Koyama truly wants to see Hira happy and he might have tried to convince Hiromi to give him an interview.

I agree, it worked with how his chatacter was back in the 1st season. I mostly meant the 'nuisance' comment he made when Hira stuttered in the first episode. I expecially loved the fact that he made that comment in the exact same place where in the 2nd season, he'll reassure him when he stutter by coming closer and showing care, that was very interesting!

Thank you!! This is such a beautiful story, it's amazing to do as good as a first season, the second seasons are usually a bit disappointing and it wasn't the case here, quite the opposite !
On The End of the World with You Mar 6, 2023
I don't feel like the subjects are treated well, the relationship for example, I feel like they're going to be back together and I don't understand how Masumi would even consider that after he said Ritsu litteraly left him traumatised! Ritsu is terrible and I hate every second he's on screen...
But I don't feel like the end of the world is treated well either, why aren't people losing their mind, it'd be natural, why isn't Yuma freaking out about not getting home on time... Why do the majority of people seem calm about humanity going extinct in less than 2 weeks... (feels like we've seen people going crazier during the earliest months of the pandemic, buying 10s of toilet paper bags and fighting and attacks...)
I don't think I'll continue it...

Okay I literally wrote an essay, that's embarassing...

I have so many things to say about this… Let’s start by saying I loved it so much, probably as much as the…
1. The back and forth inner voices between Hira and Kiyoi was a nice surprise ! That allowed us to follow where both character stood and what they truly thought of their current situation. Just like in the previous season, I liked hearing Kiyoi’s thoughts, especially in the second episode, as it showed how serious he felt about Hira.
2. Kiyoi’s developpement ! I think Kiyoi’s developpement was beautifully done. I was scared we would see the same Kiyoi as in the first season, closed off, grumpy and rude. But it was the opposite. Kiyoi became sweeter and more open with each episode. I loved to see the amount of effort he made in opening up, although communication seemed complicated for both characters. The way Kiyoi tried to take care of Hira was adorable and that’s the parts that struck me, that showed how much he evolved (I think about the cooking part as well as the way he came closer to Hira to rub his back and reassure him when Hira started stuttering a lot in the finale, miles away from the way he reacted in the previous season).
3. Hira’s a frustrating character, but he’s well portrayed. He is meant to be frustrating, if we feel frustrated, we can understand Kiyoi’s frustration. The first two episodes made me think Hira might have evolved a bit, he seemed to address Kiyoi differently from the way he did previously. But came the 3rd episode and from the first few minutes, it made it clear Hira was still the same. The 3rd episode was so well done to be fair. It was a roller-coaster of emotions, especially the last scenes. His metaphor about the star shining only as long as you observe them from afar made it very clear he loved his own idea of Kiyoi the most. It was really heart breaking to see Kiyoi’s face distort in pain as he realised nothing had really changed. In his mind, Kiyoi would be the most beautiful as long as they lived in different world. Honestly, this scene deserves its own comment but I won’t go there.
4. The communication or lack of. Communication is such a big part of this season, neither Kiyoi nor Hira truly know how to communicate and it causes Hira to hurt Kiyoi and Kiyoi to undirectly allow the issue to grow bigger and bigger… It was a short drama, obviously, but I loved seeing Kiyoi tries to communicate. Let’s be honest, it must be exhausting for him to make all the efforts but the finale showed that he’s willing to keep trying: he’s hurt and wants to keep sulking, but understands that since Hira won’t ask questions to try and understand him, he needs to be the one telling him. It was nice seeing Kiyoi understands that he needed to adjust to Hira because it was very likely the opposite wouldn’t happen.
5. It was short, too short ? Honestly, I only realised after watching the 3rd episode that there would only be 4. Maybe two more episodes would have allowed to show more of their development. It didn’t feel rush though which is the proof that it was well executed! I want to see more of their story though, how they grow together and separately, how Hira opens up (maybe thanks to his new job?), I’m not sure if another season is planned or if the movie (Eternal) is actually going to be a sequel or just a movie made from these episodes.

Anyway, in conclusion, I loved it tremendously and obviously can not shut up about it. The actors, directors and screen writers made an amazing job and I hope to see more!

I have so many things to say about this… Let’s start by saying I loved it so much, probably as much as the first season, which, let’s be honest, that’s pretty rare ! And just with the first season, I’ll probably rewatch it many times. It's going to be too long, because I always like to ramble about things I like.

Title Even Sun
The plot was kind of all over the place... The writers clearly wanted to throw a whole bunch of stuff in it with barely 6 episodes and no real logic.
I thought Athit and Sun's finale was adorable but it made no sense with the rest of the series, it's almost like we missed like 4 or 5 episodes between the 5th ep and finale. I don't know about you but up until the 6th ep, all I've seen Sun feel toward Athit was annoyance so the confession came out of nowhere and it felt like suddenly they were complete different characters.
Barely anything made sense to be fair. (I love how Sun complains about working allll day when all he did was take out 10 coconuts off a basket.)
The boxing thing (the fight was hilarious) ? The whole 3 older friends ? The supposedly past between Sun and Athit that was hint at for like 1 minute in the whole series (why???). Why does Athit tells Sun to leave over and over again but then decides to literally hold him hostage but yet untie him every 10 minutes?
One good thing though; it's so ridiculous you'll have to laugh at some point.
On Between Us Feb 12, 2023
Title Between Us Spoiler
Finally finished Between Us. I don't really know where to start. Overall I liked it but I felt like after half of it, it started getting a bit repetitive which is too bad... The acting sometimes felt amazing (some of the crying scenes broke my heart) and sometimes a bit off... I still don't get why we never seen Dean, Win or Pruek ever swim, I get they're the one who runs the club but come on, don't they ever train ?
One thing I like is that, in my opinion, they didn't make it look like love cured Team's PTSD, whether or not Win was around, Team still had flashbacks, nightmares, guilt and PTSD. I do think having Win helped him, maybe by taking his mind of it and finding confort in Win's attention, and he could lean on him a bit. Yet, in the end, it is his aunt who truly helped him in the finale episode (I loved that scene, it was really touching fo both Team and his aunt).
To be honest, I skipped through most of Prince and Bee's scenes. I found it highly boring and uninteresting, I didn't quite understand why it was there and why we were a part of it... Neither Prince nor Bee were interesting characters, they were both very flat and I rolled my eyes every times they were on screen.. I didn't care about their story or anything... (same for the whole ABC group)
I still highly love Manow! I liked that she had a love interest in this one and how supportive of her Pruek was, even though they could have made it even more queer than it was and make her a lesbian but oh well...
Wan and Tul were alright but their whole story in the finale felt really rush and kinda weird... It was so sudden and to be fair, that scene felt like it's been written only for fan service and to add another bed scene... it didn't feel right as it seemed nothing had lead to that so far...
Overall, I liked it, some episodes way more than others, seeing the first couple episodes I was kinda scared there would be too much fan service bed scenes, but on the opposite I felt like it slowly started focusing on their feelings after the 3rd episodes.
I gave it a 7.5, good but definitely not the best BL out there...

On The New Employee Feb 5, 2023
I'm kinda sad... Most of the things I've watched recently have been disappointing, sadly The New Employee was not an exception... To be fair I really enjoyed the first 3 episodes, I found them quite entertaining. After that, though, I felt like it kept getting less and less interesting... The leads' acting seemed to lack a bit and the story got boring... So I gave it a 6.5...
On Once upon a Small Town Feb 2, 2023
Once Upon a Small Town sounded like a great romcom on paper: stuck up city guy has to move to a beautiful small town and find a way to adapt while falling in love. I feel like the characters destroyed the fun for me (or possibly the acting?)... I felt like they were fairly annoying and boring, the FL sounds and behaves like a 15 years old and it started getting on my nerves after 5/6 episodes... the ML was pretty flat and uninteresting... there wasn't anyone exciting or refreshing... pretty disappointing to me. Only the three ladies as well as ML's Seoul colleague made me laugh a bit. I wish we had seen way more animals than we did too! I wish I had liked it because it seemed so sweet...

I don't know why, but I feel like I'm watching a secondary couple. The lack of charisma, screen presence, and…
I'm on the 9th episode and i quite agree with you.. wish I'd see more episode with animals since he's a vet... the couple isn't really interesting to me and the FL makes me think of a 15 years old with her behaviour and it kind of bothers me... that's sad because like you pointed out, the town could have been used more and better... then again, it is a romcom sooo...
