Ok so there is this new Canadian medical series called 'Transplant' which was also aired in the US . It has only 1 season (13 episodes) for now and the 2nd season is in production right now and might come out next year. It is so different from normal American medical shows (maybe because it is from Canada) . It focuses on a Syrian refugee who is also a doctor trying to make a living in Canada . The side characters are great and really supportive of the male lead and help him a lot . And another thing I loved is that the female lead was intelligent and very much dedicated to her job . I found this show earlier this year when I was suffering from Hospital Playlist hangover. And my favorite part of it was that there was not a lot of sex scenes - only 2 I guess . It is really interesting and I binged it in 2 days . But it is so criminally UNDERRATED internationally. Even though it is not heartwarming as Hospital Playlist , I think it is worth a try . P.S : I watch English- language shows only if they are medical . And I hate American medical shows because of its numerous romantic relationships of the leads and a whole lot of sex scenes. This was the reason I dropped so many shows like Grey's anatomy , the resident , Chicago med , etc... (sorry for the rant) Sorry for the long ass comment . I just really like this show so much .
