Is So Ji Sub a top notch actor or am I just biased because I liked his previous works? I've been watching him closely and there's barely or rarely any change in his facial expressions, not does he use any large gestures. Is it his micro-expressions that's sufficient enough to portray his character or have I just not noticed them? For instance, Im Soo Hyang and Shin Sung Rok's acting I can completely understand what they're expressing, and I found it's done so well. But with the main lead I just don't get that feeling
2 comments: If you missed Lee kwang Soo in Running man look no further. H eliteerally plays the same, lovable, conniving character here. Second, I wonder why Oh Shun barely got ant screentime, he's been promoting wth the main characters but his role was so minor sadly. Was he more a poster boy for the show?
As a long time loyal fan of the show, I personally found the games/episodes to be less entertaining since the new PD's arrival. But more importantly, the bond among the members is so strong, and you can notice them talking and having fun all on their own. Unless the guest has a very strong personality and presence, they usually get overshadowed as they just don't know how to jump into the conversations. So I tend to feel really bad for the guests as they just end up being on the sidelines. I hope that changes in the future. And I hope other characters also get more love besides YJS, hopefully the staff can do more to highlight their entertaining sides.
The first 2 episodes were actually quite disappointing. It gives off the Crash landing or When camelia Blooms vibe, but just the same old plot. I love both the main leads but I had to watch the show in 2X speed coz things were kind of slow and boring. I hope the plot becomes more interesting though
Your still in episode 7. Myul Mang explains his relationship with the deity on episode 9. And the deity explains…
Yes you're right, it's a bit slow for my preferences. I couldn't quite link the dots as to the relationship between the main leads, like kisses at the most random time, or how Myul Mang comes to the conclusion to let D.K like him. Rather than moving slow, I would say the first half of the drama, as you said felt more like a literary story, and not like a drama. I am not reading a novel here hence my expectations/feeling were a bit different from yours.
I love romantic gestures in dramas, but for this show particularly, it just seems so...out of place. Like maybe it wasn't executed at the right timing, so I don't get the butterflies as much for this one. Sigh.
The story is filled with plot holes, and after 7 episodes, I still find myself confused about soo many things. Kind of reminds me of run on, where the dialogues wouldn't make much sense or the writer just couldn't really portray what he/she was envisioning. I have a hard time understanding Myul Mang and the Deity's relationship and her intentions for the characters and the world. Very interesting concept but leaves me with questions after every episode.
Ambiguous. Most of the times without direction, and I keep questioning why Im siwan's character has no facial expressions whatsoever. I keep questioning what the director's trying to convey and the plot and dialogue seems all over the place. Yet, I can't give up on it
Some people may not like what I'm saying...but my only complaint would be that it felt they were rushing it at the end, I wish we got to see in more depth how they were planning to take down Han, but other than that, it was a fantastic movie!
this list so needs 2 be longer.... For example..the 1st korean drama i ever watched....you're beautiful....i cried when i realized the second lead wouldn;t get the girl....but more importantly, choi siwon from she was pretty...that guy gets the top spot for me..
