Had to come here and comment. I'm really happy with the FL. I have an issue with 90% of all FL in cdramas and I just can't bear them. I have a few that I absolutely adore. But this one I was satisfied. She didn't always make the smartest decisions but most of them were and she accepted responsibility for the consequences of her bad ones. That's literally what I need from FLs and she delivered here.
Just came back here to leave this comment. Every time I pass this gem in MDL when I'm scrolling, my heart drops, breaks, shatters and it's so bittersweet.
Thank goodness. It's hard to find a good drama these days without the romance disrupting the plot. Although I accept some dramas really know how to do the romance well, sometimes I just wanna watch people interacting without the romance aspect.
He did teach her the basics. Then gave her a choice to leave. He also told her you have to take responsibility…
But she would never be able to live in peace once she knows the whole truth. In that situation where your life is at risk, trust me, those who value their life would not risk their lives for the truth. Remember, this is a girl who didn't click the video which could have told her everything she wanted to know just because a guy she knew as a kid told her not to. That shows her desire for the truth isn't that strong. Although I do agree to some extent that this whole thing was unfair to her.
Automatically awarded one star for having zero romance, one star for lovely bloody violence, and three stars for…
He did teach her the basics. Then gave her a choice to leave. He also told her you have to take responsibility for every choice you make, meaning any decision you make, the consequences are on you. She stayed. So whether she was equipped to fight or not, that's now on her. She should have left if she didn't think she had enough training to stay and fight. Although, I do agree with the last part. After hugging him in relief, I would probably stick a knife in his thigh and scream at him at the top of my voice, just to vent out my frustration.
I honestly never understood the hype. Like What exactly was I supposed to be enjoying in this? Not to sound rude but I gave this a VERY long chance to get me just because of Yang Yang + the whole hype around it, but it feels like this director/Screenwriter copy pasted a Wattpad book written by a teen trying to explore the cute power couple troupe without adding anything heavy to the plot. Honestly, the characters had very very shallow personalities and the FL had no more personality than a baked potato. I've never had a problem with cliches, but this was too much, extremely bland, the definition of predictable and I didn't need to use all those hours to watch it. I would have probably been more entertained daydreaming up a story in my head.
I've got one question. Is the FL annoying? Coz honestly that is a big turn-off for me. I don't know why but even a ML being annoying isn't as irritating as an annoying FL. No matter how amazing the script is if the FL is annoying then I can't.
It is on par with the other ones on your list. I couldn't get through Sword Snow Stride, but watched all the other…
Gosh, I loved SSS. I just love when people get into a battle of wits and intelligence. And I absolutely adore both the ML and ML's dad. Guess I could say SSS was just my type of thing. Right up my alley but I can see how it might not be everyone's cup of tea
No wonder Steven Zhang chose the second lead role. ZQ as a character is a gem and SZ did justice in playing the…
Steven Zhang was already one of my favorites, but after watching him act as ZQ. I died. He was AMAZING!!! To be honest he made me cry the most. I felt like he was the saddest of them all. I mean both parents were gone, and then everyone made him feel pressured to be filial to his adopted dad. The part that I hysterically cried was when Ling xiao and Li Jian Jian, told him they were together and he said "I just don't get it. Why am I the one who is always abandoned."???? I felt like reaching into the screen and slapping Li Jian jian.
I can't help but compare all spy cdramas with this one. It was so good. I loved the male lead so much. Intelligent…
Why don't you try watching Rookie agent rouge. I compare all my spy dramas to this one. It was excellent. The beginning was a little dragging but when you reach a certain point you just feel like pausing and clapping for the scriptwriter. The acting was also so much better. The FL Was 1000 times better than this one.
Mr. Sunshine needs a mention! That bromance between the three men was one of a kind
True! Every time they are together you just find yourself smiling for no reason. They were amazing, how they could give off a sense of bromance even when the circumstances of the story made them enemies.
