I lost the courage to watch the last two episodes. I don't think my heart could take it.
I actually wish I stopped at ep 21. I had a sleepless night after having a sneak peek at the last two episodes

Yeah it was kind of a happy ending, where both of them faked their deaths and ran away to live happily ever after, and the other younger prince (The on the headmaster chose in the end) Became the emperor.

I sware at this rate if I watch one more republican era drama (Chinese or Korean) I'm going to end up hating Japan for real.???

But the most annoying thing is that the original story from the novel had a different ending.

True the ending was one of those "WTF" endings leaving you with a stream of tears and a headache and..... well just that feeling of game of thrones. Its like they looked for the most unsatisfying tragic end but the actual series is down right AMAZING!!! and I couldn't watch another drama for a week coz its those ones that make you think about it for days.

I'm so tired of tragic endings!!!! I blindly started this one and then read that its a tragic story. Is a depressing ending a new trend or what?

I am in episode 7 and I just had to go back to the synopsis to check if I was watching the same drama I read about before beginning. Is that funny or just confusing? Coz there is absolutely no relation but anyway, it's still episode 7. Things probably will change but for it to get as drastic as the synopsis, I will give this drama a 10 star if they manage it well.
