It makes sense to think that way. CXZ in the novel is the typical aloof, charismatic male lead we are all too familiar with, but I find it interesting to see the contrast between when the prince is pretending to be Ciu Jiu and when he’s himself. We still get the classic male lead when he’s doing his duty as a Prince, and a humorous version as Liu Miantiang’s useless husband. The humor might not be for everyone, but I find him funny. I understand why some people prefer the novel's version of CXZ, though.

It's not too long since I followed her works and I honestly think she's great and has a lot of potential to be a top actress unfortunately some people are blinded by hate and jealousy. I know there's a lot of ZWY fans supporting this drama for him but I hope they show love for WCR as well, she deserves it.
