grrr......still only available to watch on VIKI at higher pay level. anywhere else? after 8 years you'd think…
UPDATE HEADS UP GOBLIN LOVERS: VIKI is having a special international K-drama day and specials surrounding the event (in the US) they've made some of the special VIP content available for free! this means you can view GOBLIN! check out the complete info on the app though, because all the details are NOT on the web site. this runs 12AM 11/29 - 11:59 12/13/24. you're welcome!
I'm sure it had to do with the YAI scandal somehow, the writing is so messed up almost like they had to go back…
Please explain why YAI’s screen time needed to be cut and edited out. I’m watching him now in another show and he’s wonderful. It sounds like dirty politics Deleting the superb ML scenes probably brought the series down to FUBAR.
HITV is an app in the app store here in the US. this series is free on the app. here is the link to maybe get you closer. https://www.gohitv.com/hitv-download
I didn’t even get past the first scene and had to do a happy dance for the music. Listen. Don’t watch. It’s Erik Satie’s Gnossiennes! Just the music itself is worth the experience.
always such a great loss when a young person passes away. may his family's mourning find peace and solace in the blessings they shared. may his memory be for a blessing. Alev ha shalom.
It's on iQIYI - https://www.iq.com/album/kinnporsche-the-series-tv-version-2022-1vsuvcupifd?lang=en_us A Paid…
@StarlightSurfer, IQIYI has 2 levels. The paid level has KP The series La Forte (meaning the episodes are blocked). the regular no charge level has KP TV version. what's the difference between the 2 versions? TIA
grrr......still only available to watch on VIKI at higher pay level. anywhere else? after 8 years you'd think it was more widely available. the OST is superb and i want to meld the music with the drama.
Hi guys, I invite all fans of "The Double" to read my article "The Presence of Arts in The Double", worked together…
thank you so much for taking the time to articulate the sheer quantity and quality of the arts in this drama. many times, i'll watch a series specifically for the OST (Nodame Cantabile, etc) or native arts being showcased . with all the lovely asian shows available, i am often disappointed that korean and other native/traditional music (especially stringed instruments) is not used. this would add so much depth to historical dramas. i see that netflix has this show available. i'll give it a watch based on your recommendation. please feel free to share other shows which caught your eye with good music.
the OST completely hooked me on this one. it took some searching to find it, but if you're totally impressed with the OST, it's composed by koji nakamura. you can find it here: https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=pZ1hWPTYmAI&list=OLAK5uy_k-3OSxK9nXuKACOmFIuYF95BSislWLu9Y together with the art-like quality of the cinematography, i can totally overlook any of the negative and questionable thoughts i initially had. joy and peace are found in the oddest places. this was an enjoyable slice of humanity.
I've only gotten 7 episodes into this show, but i am enjoying the main couple's openness and frank relationship. very refreshing in a CDrama. but my favorite part is the opening song! Little Sweet Drama, by Liu Meilin. It has some country-western feels to it, and goes so well with the show's personality. i also love Xu Kai, he's a shy little kitty.
OMG! about halfway through watching Quartet on Netflix. all i can say is the OST gets a 10/10! every single ep had music i love, and love to play. and BTW, if they DID play vivaldi's "winter" from the 4 seasons i'd be thrilled, but they didn't. the entire feel of the players' relationship was just so accurate in a music ensemble. when you are with your stand partner/co-players, playing beautiful music and working towards making it flow brings you together like no other way. needing to ebb and flow in your relationship makes the music (and life) ripple like the "maldau".
