Thank you, Netflix for not completely caving in to gossip and fear mongers. There must have been thousands of us watching this amazing movie on the first day it’s available on NF. Yoo Ah Inn was captivating. I dared not miss any moments. And Lee Byun Hun was smooth and perfect for the role. This is a must watch. Totally riveting. 👍🏼
OMG! SO many rave reviews about this show. thinking of viewing, and since the OST is supposed to be awesome, it's extra incentive. but please someone spoil this for me, happy ending? (so many reviews but couldn't confirm HE) if i even see a guy in a uniform get shafted, i'll bawl. TIA y'all! <3
I hope they release it again with all the original YAI scenes.I mean sure, we can't tolerate his mistake (for…
@CreatO, would that even be possible...to re-create the series with Yoo Ah IN's scenes? it looks like a majority of posters here would appreciate something "else" to add to the flow of the series. i think that "something" is all those scenes with YAI. such a waste and shame to cancel someone who has already paid the price for his petty crimes. ROK is so hateful in this issue. IMO, they could use some forgiveness in their lives.
Can anyone who has watched this give me some info on the timepiece that Chen Feng Tai wears? it is an old-fashioned locket type, and there seems to be a picture of Shang Xi Rui (or someone with similar headdress) inside. CFT always opens it with an air of longing.
Wow. MDL is a bastion of hate and ignorance. Must be run by the same people who bullied and ruined many of the actors who committed su1cide in ROK. Shanda and FUBAR. My support and heart goes to KSH. We’ve got your 6. ♥️🇺🇸
ZO IN SUNG!!! i think that's all you need to know. <3 can't wait to watch it. amazing OST, which i checked out first (BC music tells all). luckily in the US it's currently streaming on daily motion otherwise it's nowhere.

many thanks. i've been reading the personal comments from viewers, and realized if i'm going to watch this, i need to understand the background story of the war and the fighting. war stories, especially those which depict PTSD don't happen in a vacuum. not sure of this series is for me..i'll need to have my head in a good place before i dive into it. war stories hit many of us military families hard, you always think you're seeing your son/daughter/husband on the TV. having a bittersweet/HE makes the tears more worthwhile.
My emotional attachment to this drama can be described by telling a fact that I had my heart in my mouth when…
Wait. What episode was this? I always wondered why General didn’t get pregnant. The series up until episode 32 doesn’t mention intimacy or pregnancy. Then all of a sudden (they’re standing on the riverbank) in episode 32 ML asks her why she’s not gotten pregnant since they’ve had sex often!!??? Really?
how you got to watch it it's not loading from this application
I've been waiting years to watch this, it was the first book i read in our book club. Read it while my son was with the USMC in Korea. totally got me invested eventually into KDrama. Finally, it's on Amazon in the USA. Don't let the apple+ membership stop you though, i think it's a misprint. i just turned it on and it's available at the regular Amazon level!!! OORAH! and the book was amazing. on the genre of a michener book with great characters and family/cultural resilience.
currently watching this in the series form, and loving these two cuties. gav and cairo show so much emotion and love even though they are obviously very young. i know this show came out in 2022, which means it may have been produced far before that. during the COVID period, people were going apesh**t crazy about measuring 6' distancing, wearing face diapers, installing plexiglass EVERYWHERE, and basically believing all the BS that our government was hoaxing on us. here in the US we had dr fauci putting us on lockdowns which caused our society to spiral in so many ways. closing churches, small stores, gyms, but leaving walmarts open. WTF. i'll never forgive those asshats who did this to my children and community. that being said, it looks like in the phillippines, where gameboys was filmed...things might have been even worse. even the actors had to pretend to follow some bizarre rules and wear face diapers that didn't even block simple viruses, let alone the WU. my heart and dittoes go out to the cast of this exceptional show, and especially our adorable heroes, gav and cairo. bravo! <3
