Perfect disguise
I’ve been reading reviews on here and I don’t understand the people giving this 10/10This show had the potential to be one of the best shows of the year but oh damn, both the romance and politics weren’t fully developed so it was a just half baked for both
What happens to PM, one of the main characters and his character is just taken off screen with no clear explanation as to the consequences of his actions, FL nails don’t do her character justice considering the number of times they were shown, ML always has one look as if he’s smirking
I genuinely don’t get the hype with such a confusing story line. Both leads look good though, props to them

Interesting
The drama started off slow for me, but I later came to enjoy it and then towards the end it felt abit draggy due to the focus on the political intrigue and not the romance, I was pissed at Xie Yongers death, very unnecessaryOne thing I don’t understand in these wuxia dramas is how when there’s a war or some fighting, the main leads choose to be romantic in that moment 😂, like hello, arrows are flying, swords are clashing all around you and you choose this moment to kiss??? What if you catch a stray arrow or sword or something, is this put for dramatic effect

Nothing legendary about this general
When I saw this show rated 9/10 I thought this must be an interesting watch, I read the synopsis and thought okay, we have a badass female general but going into the drama I was really disappointed, no backstory of how she became a general, they shoot most of the scenes at that camp and it just got boring, the moon is full every night, ugh, and how are we supposed to believe that someone with all these feminine mannerisms is actually a man, HELLO?? The way she talked in that baby voice was actually irritating, the ML had one icy expression the whole time, the chemistry wasn’t there and these two liked each other bse the plot needed it that way because there’s nothing to show how they actually fall in love, the title should’ve been something elseI can’t continue with this and i definitely wouldn’t recommend
