well, lovesick was 10 years ago, there might be some ppl who are not familiar with the older gen BLs so we should understand that :>

first impression for ep1, as someone who also used to watch the entire lovesick from entire s1 to s2 (I forgot most of the details though), I can say, this remake is quite well-made. The pacing (from "be my bf, to carwash, to allergy scene handled very well in just one episode since as far as I remember I think it was in multiple episodes), writing, editing (as much as I kinda get cornied to Love Mix Up's editing), music choices are also good, using of comedic sfx are also on point, lastly, the castings are perfect, especially the main actors, they portrayed Noh and Phum very well. Even the side characters like the trans made Jenny and her duo they look soo good with their maid clothing. And wow unexpectedly Aim is almost like the 1:1 in terms of looks and attidute, they're almost looked the same. Also Phun's little sister, her energy is giving me the "fujoshi of gen z" era so kudos again for that.

And this is really coming from someone who IS INTO THE ON1Y ONE ALOT, I got too hooked up watching with this series that I don't feel watching other series for the moment, but this broke the boundary not just for watching but for my enjoyment as well, LoveSick 2024 remake did really fulfill my enjoyment.

And again, all of these thoughts of mine are just regarding to episode 1, and I am not saying this one is better than the original, or the original is better than the remake, they are good on it's own (My opinion might change if later episodes will go bad)

Lastly, before the first ep, I genuinely appreciate the ENTIRE LOVESICK TEAM for giving respect the original main song for the ost. This is the remake I'm liking the most so far.

i like how relevant and realistic the portrayal of (asian) high school life is and then people complain for being too realistic and then when it's university drama people also complain for being so unrealistic xD
