YS is a narcissistic plague, he tries to pretend but always gives himself away...lol, CSS has seen through him long ago, no wonder he is her very last choice in a sort of forced marriage to please those around her, because she knows she is digging her own grave. Narcissists are great at wrapping kind-hearted and naive people around their fingers in order to then destroy them, and Li Yun Rui plays the role excellently.

Park Jin could pass as the older soul mate version of Seo Yul. So Yi and Seo Yul would be a real power couple, as So Yi would teach him not to follow the rules in cadvero-obedience. Joo Wol is a little noticed but very supportive, sweet and intelligent character. I really liked this somewhat quieter, but still exciting and eventful episode.

Yuan Shen is the prime example of a narcissist, completely useless for a relationship at eye level. A narcissist cannot be changed, but they can pretend and win sympathy, of course only until they have reached their goal...lol

An interesting and good episode that confirms various negative and positive character developments in Jang Uk's circle of friends. CP tries to be selfish but fails grandly most of the time and then is still nice to Naksu /Jang Uk, he has gained some sympathy points in the meantime. It was amusing and sweet to see Naksu being bothered that Heo Yoon Ok is hitting on Jang Uk, bitter medicine when you have to swallow it yourself...lol

Aside from character flaws as a friend, Seo Yul also seems to have a narcissistic personality who doesn't bother asking Naksu if she even wants to serve as his maid.

Yes, she had thought in a previous episode hopefully Yul doesn't really believe that she loves him, that would be bad for him...She uses all three for her purposes, only with Jang Uk she doesn't manage to keep her feelings under control.

Yes, this relationship is a highlight, so much warmth and loyalty....

The Hong sisters have really set the replay mode . Hey girl it's time to finally get rid of that stupid bird flute...but hey, she needs those things to manipulate those three foolish guys for her purposes, lol.

This was now the third episode with many unnecessary gap filler scenes. The Hong sisters have lost the line a bit. What is well written is that Jang Uk has no break to rest on his laurels and that another lady is interested in Jang Uk. Naksu would only be a good choice if they were roaming the countryside as a family, but certainly not if he were to take an official position.

You explained that really well. Although CSS is a bit afraid of LBY, she preferred that to living with her mother in the same household. I'm curious how the relationship between the two develops...

Thanks for the good explanation, this character was of course purposefully written so that the stench of his contempt for CSS and the humiliations he did to her would stick to him as much as he tries to redeem himself later to achieve his goal.

Park Jin had declared his intention not to end the fight even if Jang Uk was killed as a result; but left the crown prince alive. Also, he constantly tries to humiliate and weaken Jang Uk. Park Jin is a despicable and evil character....

Either CSS is Miss Birdbrain at 20 or appreciates becoming a submissive wife to YS because she likes his insults. After all, she would certainly have other options. There are obviously female commenters who find such men attractive. A jerk like YS will very rarely improve his character traits either in the real world or in the drama world, or if he does, then only temporarily until he reaches his goal, lol.

He already got on my nerves at the beginning when many voices here were raving about him. Obviously he does everything right and the submissive FL wants to marry him because she finds his verbal beatings and humiliations attractive.

Seo Yul tries to get closer to Naksu again behind Jang Uk's back. If Jang Uk has such "friends", he doesn't really need any enemies anymore. But there are more such dubious characters, such as the ultra-destructive sourpuss Park Jin. The only one who, without egoism and ulterior motives, helped Naksu with the exam is Park Dang Gu.
